Cakes LaMo'r Bakery

Stumbled upon this amazing quaint bakery when going to get lunch and was in awe of the variety of flavors they had boxed in clear container and wrapped to keep fresh (as well as protected). The displays will have you salivating, but are nothing compared to the actual taste of their cakes. Not to mention the designs on display for wedding, birthday or whatever event. From a previous event coordinator/wedding planner I wish I would've known of them when I was planning event with bride....I would've DEFINITELY scheduled a cake tasting!!!!

This cake was so dam good. It was moist and full of flavor!! The kids and big kids really enjoyed it to the fullest. It was worth every dime!!! A non cake eater in the family went Ham!!! Ive tried the peach cobbler pound cake, regular pound cake, and the strawberry butter cream. They were all great A+ rating. The inside of the place smells amazing it will def temp you to purchase more than one flavor.

Me and my boyfriend stopped in here on a whim and did not regret it at all. We had the carrot cake, butter pound, and red velvet! All of them were extremely moist and flavorful. The icing was just right. 👍🏾

I finally was able to find the original Sweet Temptations. The name has officially changed but the quality and goodness of their cake slices have not. My fiance and I will be purchasing our wedding cake from here. It's definitely a must try if you never had anything from here before.

My favorite bakery closed so I had to find alternative and I have to say this one is by far the closet I have found to replace it! I adore the cream cheese icing and the cake itself is so soft!! It's also a local buisness so that a huge plus too.

THIS IS THE ORIGINAL Sweet Temptations Bakery!!!! The other spot is an imitation!!! I just wish my Mother was still alive to bask in the glory of tasting these delicious cakes again!!! I ordered red velvet and vanilla cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday and I almost FAINTED 😩 I WILL NEVER buy cakes from ANYWHERE else BUT Cakes LaMo’r Bakery EVER AGAIN!!! Is there a 100,000,000 star rating button on this thing?!?! 👀

What more can be said about this amazing place? They possess something that many others do not: Consistency. Whenever I have had their cakes and desserts, they delivered every single time. Staff are great and the smells are blissful! Do yourselves a favor and go support this Bakery. You will not be disappointed. Hats off to Cakes LaMo'r!!

I forgot to get my girlfriend a cake for her birthday and they saved me. They were very nice over the phone when I called and they were able to make an amazing carrot cake the next day. There was a small up charge for less than 2 days notice, completely reasonable, but honestly the fact that they were able to fit my order in was a life saver. 100% will go back, but I'll plan ahead next time.

A different name but the same great taste. I was rather confused at first but realized Cakes Lamor was the original Sweet Temptation bakery. Very happy I was able to locate them under their new name. My family will be real pleased to know that we have located our favorite bakery again. 5798 North Main Street, Columbia SC 29203. I have purchased several cakes and all have been great. My family in ATL love them, they hope they will be shipping or do a pop up in ATL. The staff has always been polite and professional. I would question negative reviews.

I’m so glad I found them! I was so worried that I would not be able to get the sour cream/butter cream cake that was once at Sweet Temptations, but I was so thrilled when I found out that the old baker/owner opened up their own spot. Everyone in my family loved it!! We will be back!

I have been ordering cake from this place hmmmm for about 5 years now but thus will be my last the customer service is so nasty it's the dark skin guy for me no thank you come again he's so rude he tries to be so professional that he's missing his mark even his tone over the phone is rude in person no smile it's like give you your cake and get out he's not friendly at all I had enough of him then they don't open up on Saturdays anymore the cake is good but his funky attitude i can do with out I know one monkey don't stop no show but a a business owner be More polite especially to your kind we are the people that keeps you in business DONT FORGET THAT

Just tried the Oatmeal Pie thing. It was a big cookie. It was delicious. I loved how they had it package and everything. I was surprised to learn that they had been their for 3 years in business. It was delicious. I will be back.

My son birthday cake was excellent very moist and delicious. The design was spot on to exactly what I asked for. I will definitely be back!!

Was blessed with a free slice of cake today and decided on the pineapple coconut and it is pure perfection definitely going to be stopping by regularly for my sweet cravings fix⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐❤ they deserve a box full of stars period.

Fresh baked goodies I love the almond pound cake and red velvet cake. Everything is good though. Try the strawberry pudding too.
