Carolina Tavern

This is a sports pub/grill, so with that expectation it's pretty good. Had the fried pickle spears which were great. More pickle to batter ratio. Burger was very thick, cooked well. A little lacking in flavor (I had a burger with grilled onions and mushrooms). Recommend going with a sauce. If you want to watch a game, there are literally tvs everywhere. Good drink specials.

Our server was amazing! Very attentive and polite. Had the fried pickle burger and honestly it was one of thr best burgers I've ever tasted. My partner had the philly with mashed potatoes and said it tasted really good! The Philly nachos were a big hit also! One of our go to spots when visiting the area!

Not fancy, but nice atmosphere.. delicious burgers/fries/nachos.... everything was very hot, fresh with plenty of food. Good variety of foods to choose from. WINGS WERE also large, crispy and delicious according to my grandson who is an absolute food critic

Excellent food. They have food and drink specials. If you want to eat or drink at the bar- it seems quiet and you have large TVs to watch any number of games that are playing. They have tables and booths for indoor dining that can accommodate large and small families. They have also have outdoor seating.

The Food. The Service and Atmosphere was 5 star. I took my mom out and we had the fried mushrooms and build your own burgers. Amazing. The waitress was great. I'm glad we tried it and will be back, soon!

First time going there. Food was amazing and priced right, hot and fresh. The waitress we had was pleasant and enjoyable. Really nice place was even able to sit outside. Will definitely go back!!

The Nacho Appetizer was great! The Uncle Doug Burger was amazing and the drinks hit the spot!!! Definitely will be coming back 😁

I’m in town on work. For a small town tavern, this place hit it out of the park. We sat at the bar. The bar staff were top notch, friendly, and made you feel like you just walked into the Cheers bar. Everyone, staff and patrons, knew everyone by name and even if they knew you weren’t from there, they, staff and patrons, talked with you like you grew up there. According to their bar coasters, they’re known for their ribs and wings. I ordered the rib and wing platter. 10/10 best food. The bar staff even gave us restaurant recommendations for local greasy spoons that are local favorites. If I wasn’t wanting to try new spots, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back again! Thanks to the bar staff for making it fun.

Carolina Tavern never disappoints! The staff is always so friendly. Wait times have never been long, if there is any wait at all. The food is always good and it's reasonably priced. Our family highly recommends Carolina Tavern.

Great food, amazing Bloody Mary, and outstanding service! My server was working her first shift on her own, and I can honestly say that I wouldn't have even known had she not told me when I complimented her!

Good food ample servings and friendly staff along with reasonable prices make it the " go to place."

Everything was excellent, we ordered wings, Tavern Cheese Steak, Chili Cheese fries, and pretzels w cheese dip. I’d recommend all 4 to family and friends.

We met our friends from Lexington, and your patio was perfect for the 4 of us and our two golden retrievers. Food was good but my husband's chicken (special) wasn't great and it came with no sides. Kind of weird

The food is always AMAZING. Highly recommend their wings, ribs, and especially their garlic parmesan fries. Their Purple Rain cocktail is to die for The servers are always so friendly and it's never as loud as you'd expect. I highly recommend.

Everything was great! We let our waitress know it was our first time visiting and she was extremely helpful with suggestions and food and service was amazing. Great experience all around even had good music playing and TV at all tables. The waitress even let us sample a taste of the house made beer cheese dip. Yum!

Love this fun place no matter if your sitting outside or inside at the bar or a booth. Everyone is so friendly and nice and I've been there several times. I have made friends with people at other tables. Food is excellent.
Price is reasonable. Plenty of parking with handicap at the door. Servers treat you like your family even the bar tenders have you laughing. Come enjoy a great night out.
