J Peters Grill & Bar - Mauldin

Wonderful lunch. Got a house salad and it did not disappoint. The roll was also delicious with sweetness drizzled on it. Next was cheese burger and fries. Cheese burger was so good and had a very good flavor. Fries were nice and crisp on outside with a tender inside. I had a spiked pink lemonade also very good. Was disappointed in beer selection. Would definitely recommend!

Hidden gem from what I could tell. Cocktails made to perfect and at a great price! I had the flounder and shrimp and it was cooked to perfection ! Light and flakey on the inside and crisp on outside ! The salad was huge and crisp and fresh. The honey butter croissant was the perfect addition!

Awesome food and great service. I ordered the ribs, baked potato and Cesar salad. The ribs were fall off the bone which means a little messy. They were absolutely delicious. Side Cesar side was very large. Donna the bartender was excellent. Food came out fast

The service and food was great! We arrived and thought we would have to wait 45 min. But we're seated in about 15. The food was brought out pretty quickly. The fries shrimp was very good and I would say the prime rib steak sandwich was also very good! Yeah we will going back soon

Update - still excellent service! Food was great and portions were large! No wait on a Saturday night. Best prime rib dip sandwich in town!

2/03/23 Dinner tonigh out after seeing 80 for Brady at the movies. We did not have to wait long on a booth and service. Our server Allison did a fantastic job of checking on us and getting our order correct.
First time here, we had the Hot Lava Shrimp appetizer which was very good, followed by the house salads with a fresh hot croissant. Our entrees were the Fried Flounder with Fried Shrimp, loaded mashed & baked potatoes. The food was fresh & hot with plenty of cocktail and tartar sauce. Our server brought out our drinks quickly & kept them refilled. I tried the pineapple upside down cake martini and loved it.
The only negative thing was that a loud voiced woman chose to hold a meeting with kitchen staff during the dinner service. She drowned out the background music and conversations of the diners. All in all though an enjoyable experience and meal.

We love J. Peters! Our second time at this location and it was a great experience. Excellent service, delicious food with hearty portions, and great prices. It was nearly full at lunch...a popular spot! We enjoyed the house salads and my wife added blackened salmon. The croissants are dangerously tasty! I went with the veggie side dishes... everything was great.

I’ve gone to this resturaunt several times! Please don’t listen to the guy who left a 1 start review . His name begins with a “A” I believe. This restaurant is AMAZING my mom and I go here all the time for a nice dinner . Food has always been well cooked , delicious & the deserts are very tasty. The owner is so polite & sweet and she really tries to form relationships with her customers and gives great business. Remember there is always more to a story than what a negative reviewer has to say! Come try this restaurant for yourself ! You will have No regrets!

The food quality and quantity were perfect. We got the J Peters grilled chicken plate which comes with a salad. Chicken is juicy due to the bacon layer. The salad mix is great. Service was fast. The waitress was customer satisfaction oriented. I highly do recommend this grill. Most likely the best grill in Greenville area, as far as I know and to my point of view. Highly recommended place.

Outstanding above and beyond service. Bartender excellent skills and personality. Whitress courteous polite attentive. Food out of this world Tantalizing. Atmosphere relaxing relaxing environment for enjoying a meal as well as good times.

Me and my Dad went here for dinner. Started with the croissants appetizer, was yummy and amazing, delicious honey butter glazed over the top.
Then got Burgers 🍔 I got the J Peter's BBQ one with crispy fried onions, BBQ sauce, well-done... was very huge burger! Had to be 10 oz!
Got the sweet potato fries as a side, be sure to ask for honey butter to dip them in! That is the sauce that goes on the croissants, just fyi ;)
Wanted to try dessert, but sadly had no room... next time I am ordering dessert first! LOL Had to get a box because I didn't finish my burger or all my fries.
Definitely will return!
Also our waitress was super nice, patient considering I was undecided on what to order ... as it was between like 4 different things lol

Atmosphere is comfortable and rustic; very welcoming. Our server, "Nila", was so very friendly and sweet.
I ordered a House burger with fries and a house salad. The salad was fantastic! It comes with a hot croissant drizzled with honey. Yum!
The burger was massive. I was only able to eat half of my meal but it was so good. Fries were fluffy and crispy.
My adult beverage came in a frosty mug.
All around great experience.

I came here on a Tuesday evening for dinner with friends. I ordered the Fried Flounder dinner which came with a two sides. I got the Caesar salad and a baked potato. The salad came with a croissant with honey butter and was really good. The baked potato came with butter, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, and chives. Service was good.

My wife and I ate here for the 1st time today. It was 2:00 and we were able to order from the Early Bird Menu. We both ordered the Tender Sirloin with a Salad and Sweet Potato Fries.
The salad was fresh and pretty good, although I don’t really care for the bacon bits that was on top. The crescent roll was very tasty.
The steak was tender and juicy and cooked exactly as we ordered, medium.
Mine had a little more seasoning than I like, so I traded with my wife as hers was just right for my tastebuds.
The Sweet Potato Fries were waffle cooked like you get at Chick-Fil-A. They were the best Sweet Potato Fries that I’ve ever eaten!
The employees were all very nice and did a great job. Service was fast, but it wasn’t too busy at that time of day.
The restaurant was very appealing both inside and outside.
Overall it was a very nice place to eat and I plan to visit there again.

Classic food in a nice location and good service.

Our experience was outstanding. Becky was an efficient, friendly server and the early bird menu was an incredible value. The food quantity and quality were excellent. You could make a meal out of the side salad. We ate in a booth in the bar, nice vibe.

There were 6 of us, 4 out of state visitors, and we'll all enjoyed the meals we ordered, from the prime rib, the the Salmon to the Smoked Ribs, as well as the she crab soup and the Hamburger. The server was awesome too

The food was delicious! I forgot to take a picture of the side salad. It was more than enough surprisingly. We were full from it. The food was well seasoned and plentiful. My first time eating here, but not my last. Thanks to great service!!!

Was visiting the area and stopped in for a meal. Everything was great! The server had great suggestions, and she was right, every item ordered was delicious.

Always have really good service and the food is so good. Usually I go to the one in Fountain Inn, but have been to this location twice for lunch. Today I had the chicken alfredo and my brother had the prime rib sandwich. Both were very good! I always have tons left over bc they give you such large proportions. Its a must try!

GREAT!!! Definitely will back!!! Brand new place in mauldin right off 385! Food was beyond expectations! Went with the family after church! The portions are very generous to say the least!!! I love having plenty and not the bare minimum!!! Chicken tenders, to chicken Alfredo, to steak and shrimp, to grilled chicken!!!! Burger and all was amazing!!! The staff was very polite and respectful. Our server Koli, amazing! Checking on us very frequently!!! This place is a new destination on the map!!!!! Very pleased!!!
