I had an absolutely amazing time at this restaurant recently. The food was so authentic that it felt like I was transported to a whole new culinary world. Every dish was like a work of art, perfectly capturing the essence of its origin. The flavors were incredibly rich and genuine, a true testament to the chef's mastery of authentic cuisine. The ambiance of the place perfectly reflected the cultural vibe, and the service was impeccable. I can't recommend this place enough to anyone who wants a truly exceptional dining experience.

What a find! This cute place has everything....shopping, outdoor dining and amazing food! We tried lots of different things, and they were all wonderful/ The charcuterie board was tasty and had a good selection of items to choose form. The soup and salad options were very good, and the breads were super yummy. I would definitely recommend this place!

What a darling spot!! The atmosphere made me feel like I was somewhere in Europe instead of SC. Incredible service too!!

I got the Famous Chicken Salad Croissant. I’ve had chicken salads from a bunch of spots and The Gourmet Shop’s is extremely top-notch. Well seasoned and CHUNKY!! I’m still dreaming about the dill potato salad too. Absolutely the best!

Also, I couldn’t leave without getting a dessert fix. They have a menu dedicated to just desserts. 😍 I got the Double Layered Blackberry Cheesecake and it was so divine.

Definitely add this mood-boosting spot to your Columbia visit. You and your tummy will leave happy.

What can I say, this is my favorite brunch/lunch place around. An adorably cute café plus an even cuter deli/shop attached?? Say less. You must get the tomato soup even when it's 100 degrees outside, I don't make the rules. The chicken salad is perfection as well. I find myself constantly changing what I get to eat because each time I go I find something else that sounds delicious on the menu. I truly cannot say enough good things about this place.

Get the spring mix salad, topped with roasted shrimp salad and avocado, and a side of celery seed dressing. You'll thank me later. 😉 Yum!!! 😋 Delicious and filling! The brie and bacon croissant is also good if you want something heavier than salad.

Cool little spot to get home goods and have a nice meal. We came for lunch and had chicken panini sandwich and lavender spritzer. Then got some goodies from the store. Very great atmosphere and service. Kind of reminds me of Cafe du monde.

This is the most adorable locally owned shop and restaurant. I love shopping for wines, cheeses, desserts, or kitchen accessories!

Called in my order for pickup. I ordered the chicken salad stuffed tomato. It was ready in 10 minutes. On the way out, I ordered a cheesecake dessert. Both were delicious and for both items, it was under $20. Great place to eat, delicious food, and friendly atmosphere.

Awesome brunch; expect to wait a while as this is a very popular brunch venue. Enjoy brunch, get a bottle in the shop and indulge for a $5 corkage fee. Fantastic, quick and friendly service. Delicious food! Make sure to get the chicken salad and tomato bisque!

I love the gourmet shop 🥲 tons of vegetarian options. You can get brunch or lunch, or a combo of the two 😅 outdoor seating is lovely as is the entire atmosphere. Good selections of wines/prosecco/mimosas etc + beer. The indoor shop is incredible and you could spend hours there checking out all the foodie options + kitchen ware. Great place to buy gifts and a good starting point for wandering around 5 Points shops.

The food and service staff is always great 👍 . The Gourmet Shop is our favorite place to have brunch! Wish it was bigger but love the atmosphere and shop. It's almost like being in France. Keep up the great job.

Okay, why is this place not popping up with some of the top rated restaurants of Columbia?? It should be at the top of the list! Thankfully, we ended up coming here for lunch one day, and it was my favorite restaurant on the trip!! In my opinion, it is a must! The chicken salad and pimento cheese were incredibly good.

i absolutely loved this cute little restaurant! the food was scrumptious, the atmosphere was lovely, and all of the staff members were so kind :) i really like how there was a store inside the restaurant where you could purchase kitchenware, various foods, and chocolate. i really enjoyed my bacon and brie croissant with such sweet, fresh fruit!

Absolutely love The Gourmet Shop in Five Points, Columbia SC! It's my go-to spot for lunch whenever I'm in town. The freshness and quality of their ingredients are unparalleled. This place never disappoints. Fall weather curbside tables. Excellent food. Great Deli. Crazy cheese selection. And any kind of gift for the home Chef. Chicken salad on croissant is to die for! Great for people watching.

Whenever we get back to Cola, I try and hit up this spot. A great spot for a quick bite that actually serves yummy ingredients! Take a stroll through the market after eating for dessert or wine to go!

Located in Little Five Points area of Columbia that's popular with USC students... this upscale grocery offers indoor/outdoor dining as well as grab and go food items, as well as large wine selection....excellent service with bustling brunch crowd...my Adult Grilled Cheese was under whelming, but everyone else in dinning party was very thrilled with their Panini sandwiches and salads

A favorite lunch spot for my husband and me! The sandwiches are delicious and the pesto pasta is divine! Hubby likes the potato salad a lot too! Definitely recommend 👍🏻

Food was delicious. Waitress we had wasn't very attentive though.

Update 8/19/21: I had the salmon bagel with the tomato bisque this morning! Food was delicious per usual! Our waiter, Jackson, was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be returning 😊

I was in Columbia, SC for a business trip.
I did curb side pick up one Sunday morning due to social distancing purposes. From the outside the restaurant looked like it was poppin and I really wish it was non-COVID times. I would have loved to go in to experience the environment.
Anyway, I ordered the medium rare roast beef sandwich with a side of pesto pasta. I enjoyed the roast beef tremendously due to it it's juiciness. The medium rare temperature does it justice.
The pasta was tasty and had garnishes of pecan which worked very well with the flavor of the pesto.
I would highly recommend this restaurant for Sunday brunch or lunch any day.
