Richland Marriage Licenses

All you need is a notary to make a marriage legal in South Carolina. If you don't return the license to the county, it's still legal. The judge's digital signature that you purchase online is all you need. Call the office to verify this information to get a rude employee who can't be bothered with your questions.

I usally don't post unless I really have to. I work for the richland county school district and I love helping people by referring them to the appropriate place or to give them the right number if they call me by mistake. I felt embarrass when I gave the number to this lady from out of state and then I called to double check (getting it online) for her to get a copy of her marriage license and the only response was to leave a message? This is terrible! If I could rate it lower than 1 star I would.

Do not believe that this actually exists. Everything I see on Richland county says they close at 4:45 p.m. . It has to be notarized and presented at a probate court the probate Court closes at 4:45. If somebody has anything to say about this being real please post it
