Baymont by Wyndham Columbia Northwest

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the incredible Baymont Inn in Columbia and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home.

The room was absolutely stunning, with modern decor and luxurious amenities. The bed was so comfortable, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom was spacious and immaculately clean, with a rain shower that was pure bliss after a long day of exploring the city.

One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast buffet that was included in my reservation. The variety of options was impressive, from fresh fruit and pastries to made-to-order pancakes. I looked forward to starting my day with a cup of freshly brewed coffee and a plate full of delicious food.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the city with easy access to restaurants, shops, and attractions. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, offering recommendations for sightseeing and making sure I had everything I needed.

Overall, my experience at the Baymont Inn in Columbia was nothing short of exceptional. The manager Mr’s. Mira, her attitude and her personality is amazing! She is so sweet is was very very attentive to our needs. Whenever she saw us, she would stop and talk with us and ask me about how things were going. She really cares, and to her you’re not just another guest. I can't recommend this hotel enough for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Columbia. I can't wait to return!

Hotel isn’t in the best location but, that withstanding; rooms were clean, the staff was very nice and straightforward, they allowed my dog and I to stay for 14 days. I was supplied with all the essential needs and clean linen whenever I wanted cause my dogs paws kept making prints on the bedding! I see it says on some reciews that they have bugs, that is a complete lie because I didn’t see the very first and I was roomed near renovation work! I think the overall visit is worth the price and I was treated very kindly by the staff! Definitely a good place to stay!

I recommend great price, staff is friendly! General Manager is approachable and pleasant when dealing with my family! Housekeeping is great easy to access people here for whatever your need! Rooms and linens are fresh and daily!

Nice place, my boyfriend and I had a long drive, and we need somewhere to rest, the staff was amazing, I asked for more pillows and they were on top of everything! I had an amazing rest. I went downstairs because I was hungry the staff had really great snacks!!! Overall! I do recommend

Hotel is currently under new management. The new manager and front desk staff that I've met were friendly, resourceful, and efficient. My room was clean; no bugs, stained linens, or weird moldy smells. The area is quiet and the cleaning staff is respectful of my "do not disturb" sign. The location is close to my job and not far from shopping centers, convenience stores, and grocery stores. It's also close to a bus stop for public transportation. Entirely a win win situation for me for the next 15 days.

Myself & my sister came here to stay the night for a "girls night getaway" just to relax & "woosaw' as they say. To start off, given we were 2 females i circled the parking lot when we arrived to check out the "vibe" so to speak. I was impressed to be honest. The hotel right next door has an negative impression so i was not very hopeful however, i was very surprised and thankful. The parking lot was clean, quiet, and mostly well lit. I had asked for a room on the bottom floor due to disability and walking concerns. They accomidated me with no issues and made sure we had a room right next to a side entrance (smoker- convenience 🤣). Honestly this visit was great. From the check in with this younger man who was very helpful and polite to accommodations to the MULTIPLE trips i or my sister took to the desk to ask for extra this or that. I never got any attitude from the gentleman or the woman who was on the night shift last night. She was amazing because i KNOW we were extra as hell 🤣!
Then i think my absolute favorite part of this visit aside from the chill time was the self serve continental breakfast. The spread or variety of food offered for an included breakfast to me anyway was great. I haven't seen a hotel that doesn't cost $100 a night for you waffles (waffle maker- self serve), cereal, yogurt, donuts, benets, 3 types of bread (optional toast), 3 types of juice, coffee, tea. The only thing i didn't see was eggs and typical protien options like bacon, sausage, ham, etc.
I felt like this was an amazing breakfast spread given the fact that my king room was $80 (plus tax) and ive Personally never seen a selection quite like this for a hotel/ room/ service whatever in this price point.
Again these are my opinions however we had a great time i hope you enjoy your visits. Sorry this is so LONG...Have a wonderful day!

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment after a long day of travel. The hotel's amenities, including the complimentary breakfast, were a nice addition to the overall experience.

The Moment I walked in the door I was provided exceptional customer service and the rates per night are amazing. Quality hotel & Staff - It will be the only place I stay at when visiting Columbia South Carolina. FROM CANADA & YOU MUST CHECK IT OUT!!!

I never thought I would find my charger back. Thank you so much for all your help, you were so kind!!! I checked in on April 20 and left a Mac charger in the hotel. The employee took me to the room I had stayed in and took a lot efforts to find the one who in charge of cleaning my room and get my charger back. And the cleaning person preserved my charger for me. I was already planning to buy a new charger, but I finally get my charger back because of the dedicated manager and employees. That’s meant a lot to me, thank you!!

I absolutely love this property. One of my favorite places to rest and relax whenever I am in Columbia. The staff is exceptional. I couldn't have asked for better accomodations than this. I definitely recommend this establishment for anyone vacationing in Columbia. Very family oriented in a safe environment. A special thanks to the Wyndham group. This has definitely been one of my most memorable stays.

I was in a very stressful situation and needed to get into a room asap. The night staff was amazing. He saw I was stressed..helped me and got me into a room quickly. Super nice and understanding staff! Super comfy beds and very clean.

Breakfast every morning very clean and inviting also extremely welcoming attitude from everyone. I will continue to stay when I need to and also tell my friends and family that the rates are great and the family environment along with the excellent service is what we experienced here. Certain areas the cigarette smoke is very strong, and I'm not a smoker. I hate the smell of it all, Although my room was clean. And the Housekeeping staff is Amazing! Front desk staff and maintenance is great as well. Lighting in Parking lot felt safe, I have no complaints about my stay because the issues I did experience was addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Wished it was chair's on my balcony it would've been nice to sit on the balcony when the evening cooled down.

For the price it is very comfortable and very clean! But the best part of this experience had to be the front desk receptionist, Tiffany. She was extremely welcoming and very informative. She explained everything we needed to know about our stay and the rules of the hotel without us asking, from telling us exactly where to go for our room all the way to telling us the best place to park to see our car from the balcony. We ended up having to come back to book another room, and was re-greeted by Tiffany with the utmost hospitality like it was our first time seeing her! It made us so excited to be here again just by the warm welcome she gave. Thank you for making our stay amazing, Tiffany!

Nice place to stay for a night. The hotel has a lot of amenities. They require a $100 deposit on top of the cost of the room. It was not listed on Hotels.com. The beds were so comfortable. The place is a bit dated and could use a good cleaning. But, it's worth the price and was comfortable.

Our check-in was effortless and we had no problems until we got to our room. The hotel has switched to a key card system that all you have to do is wave the card in front of the door handle. Well, ours didn't work.... For six tries. However, the staff were very accommodating and so helpful, that it wasn't really an issue. Things like that are to be expected with new systems. The room was clean, spacious, and nice. The pool and hot tub were well maintained, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Because traveling with equipment trailer safety is always a priority when lodging. This property has 24 hour surveillance at the front desk with views of every angle on their parking area. I loved this. Also I had a very late check-in because of production and I called and notified the property to ensure I wouldn't loose my room and they were very accommodating. The rooms were comfy and the shower pressure was AWESOME!!! Worked perfectly for this trip!
