Hand Middle School

I am a parent at hands middle school and I LOVE HANDS SO MUCH.

im in 8th grade my bestfriend is Jakeeta HAND IS AWESOME !!!

I am currently sitting in the parking lot of Hand Middle School. I went inside in the best mood and left feeling like my insides were boiling. Mrs. Pierce in the records office is hands down the rudest person I have dealt with. I inquired about the rules of immunizations and was met with such a condescending answer. My daughter has yet to receive her shots and her reply was "Well, you've had all summer 🙄" Her contempt for me was shocking. I immediately sought out our new principal only to be told that she wasn't even here. This school is terrible. Last year we dealt with children being forced to eat in the bathroom due to bullying, teachers leaving, and pretty much a forceful resignation of Hand's principal. I was hopeful that they could start this year on a better note but my first visit this year has already left a sour taste in my mouth. If they are this rude to parents I can only imagine how it will be for my children.

The school is disgusting and the food is actual garbage that doesn't fill me up at all. The kids act out and I've been threatened lots of times (I even went to teachers) and there has been no consequence for them. I watched someone get bullied and I tried to defend the girl but nothing happened to the bullies. I love my teachers but the staff besides them are awful. I accidentally got put into general music and when I went to get it fixed the staff got mad at me. I almost got a referral because I quickly asked my friend a question at lunch. Ahem, ms McDonald.
The homophobia and transphobia is unreal. People have given death threats for even thinking another persons lgbt+.
I've seen sexual assault and my friend has been assaulted before sexually.

This is a school that I truly hate. The atmosphere is very unfriendly and disrespectful, it's loud, it's VERY unsanitary, it's very uncomfortable environment, and overall I hate it. If you are going there, just be prepared to hate learning afterwards.

This might just be the most emotionally abusive school I've ever seen. The staff are pretty apathetic towards the problems of their students(some contribute to them) and the amount of bullying might as well be an epidemic.

full of absolute bafoons, teeming with foolish acitvity. i prefer vomiting over stepping through the doorway of that prison. very disappointed, 1/20.

it's very common for sewage to back up onto the bathroom floors at night
Lots of bathrooms randomly closed, most with 5 cleaning people cleaning the floors.
