Great little dog park with plenty of shade and a small wooded area. Buster loved it!

We take our dog here all the time. It's a nice park in a nice neighborhood and you can walk around in the neighborhood too. Currently there are so many different kind of mushrooms growing in the wild which I find quite fascinating. They have a children's area and a separate dog park too.

Was quiet, peaceful. Well designed with a beautiful gazebo and fountain, play areas spread out, a dog park, an area for water play, an indoor area for game play and help with studies. It was fun to watch the squirrels while we had our picnic.

Love how open and peaceful this park is! The flowers by the gazebo make for a really happy place to sit and enjoy being outside! Nice playground equipment and a cute little dog park on the hill. Lots of open green grass to run on.

This was our first time at the dog park and it was great! The space was large, and all the people were from that neighborhood and were friendly. There is a water spigot and a few dog bowls for the hot days. There are a few benches and plenty of shade. Other reviews share that dogs can get under the gates. They have fixed it for now with cinder blocks which work fine, but they will have to do something more permanent in the future.

Lots of shade. Double fenced dog area. They have poop bags too. Parked on the street because there’s no designated parking that I could find.

Nice shady area to relax and let the dog out to exercise. Nice community room, and water rain sprinkler to cool off.

Nice park for kids, adults & any affair outside to have. Across the street from Hand Middle School. Didn’t make it inside but my Grandson’s middle school jazz band performed outside here along with other middle/high school bands. Everyone sounded very Gooooodt but my Grandson’s band sounded The Best!!! His Alto Saxophone Solo 🎷👏🏽❤
Brought back memories for me playing Alto Sax along with the rest of the Saxophones

Best dog park in Columbia because it's free! Always very busy which is so nice because our dog gets a lot of physical activity and is definitely tired out afterwards. It's a lot of dirt not very grassy but that doesn't make a difference

Lovely place to relax for a few hours on a sunny day. It's got a playground and a gazebo, as well as an outdoor amphitheater. Lots of trees provide shade and I really like it here

Great, cute little park with play structures and swings. A dogpark is on the westside of the park as well. Community center and splash pad also exist but not used currently due to COVID

This is such a cute park overall in what looks to be a beautiful neighborhood. There is a water fountain. It is free so not sure what anyone could really complain about.

Like most city of Columbia parks Mrs Douglas is pretty dumpy. Broken bricks in the amphitheatre, chipped paint on the building, and we'll work playground equipment. But what she lacks in looks she makes up in character. Down the bottom of the hill you can look up at the cars driving by and feel like you are world's away from the hustle and bustle of Shandon.

Has a dog park, playground for kids and a splash pad. There is a tree that is perfect to lean against if you are just killing time. Oh, there is a Pokemon gym there also, of you play Pokemon Go
