Very's Great Philly Food

Ordered cheese steak, lasagna and Italian Sub for pickup. Liked the cheese steak and Greek salad a lot. Lasagna needs extra sauce and fries should be ordered extra crispy. The Philly roll was like cotton heaven 😄 Will Go back!

Went in to place a to go order. I had the 11" Cheese steak, and the beef Lasagna. The cheese steak was one of the best I've ever tasted! The Lasagna was cheesy, and had just the right amount of beef.

The service was quick, and very friendly. I will be making my way back to this establishment VERY soon!

It’s been a while since I stopped in for a meal. Had a great visit with the parentals. That day they were serving unlimited spaghetti so it was hard to decide what to eat. I went with a favorite and was not disappointed (Philly). Food was slamming and the tea was cold and fresh. My kiddo had fun coloring so that was a nice old touch. Server was wonderful and prompt. Thanks for a great evening.

I got the Mega Melt Cheesesteak, and it was as advertised. I got A1 Steak Sauce cooked with the cheesesteak, and the flavor was out of this world.

Always the best cheesesteak in Columbia. Would also highly recommend the pizza, they're my go to spot.

Great food. Atmosphere was nice, peaceful, and friendly. Great environment for all. Great music selection. Very affordable.

A friend from up north recommended and I don’t know how Philly cheesesteaks and pizza taste up there but down here at Very’s…. They are pretty damn good!! (Dine in cause if you get to go it will probably be kinda cold and bread will be kinda soggy. But I bet it’ll STILL be Very good!)

I go here quite often me and My Husband as a matter of fact, my whole family we love the cheesesteaks. They are the best. Everything is good but the cheesesteak perfect if you get a chance, stop by and check it out.

Everything I have eaten from there has been fantastic. The staff is genuinely friendly and very helpful. The interior is fun in a cute, retro kitschy way. My favorites from the menu so far are the philly and the Italian hoagie. I look forward to trying more at this hidden gem on Two Notch.

My family and I came to Columbia, SC for our sons graduation from basic training and the first thing he wanted was pizza. Long story short, Very's is a diamond in the rough. The food, the portions and everything in between was some of the best food since we left Maryland about 8 years ago.

This is a damn solid cheesesteak. One of the best I've had.

The Melt was amazing. Was not expecting that kind of sandwich in the South being raised in the NorthEast (namely NY & Philly).

If there is a negative note I could make, it would be the Philly Eagles banner hanging over the register. Should have been NY Giants! Haha!

Best restaurant in Columbia!!! Food is off the hook good, staff was AMAZING! I felt from the minute I stepped in the door like I was in the company of old friends. Can't say enough about this spot. It's old skool, down home, fresh and amazing quality!!

I have been coming to this place for a very long time. They used to have an incredible Seafood pizza, however that is no longer on the menu but, their Philly cheesesteak is still there and it's still awesome.

Delicious we had pizza, cheesesteak hoagies, lasagna and grilled chicken salad will definitely try again

We were on our way back from Washington DC headed home to Georgia and we pulled over to get gas, and we seen this restaurant so we decided to visit and my wife wanted a Philly cheese steak, so she went in to order the Philly cheese steak she said the lady at the counter was very very nice and helpful and friendly. After taking a bite of my wife's sandwich 🥪 I wonder why I didn't get one of my own, Delicious!

Yesterday was my first time visiting since I had moved to Columbia, though I had already gotten reviews from coworkers and friends and I must say the food was phenomenal and the customer service was as well. Allie and the rest of the staff was great they went above and beyond to make sure my first experience was great! It felt like I was receiving presidential services lol. This is indeed one of my new favorite food spots. I rate 10stars. Oh yea and it is the best Pizza I've had in Columbia thus far.

I get the meat lover pizza and it’s delicious. They have a number of tasty item to choose from I love their subs as well. I just say see for yourself‼

We ordered lunch for our business Christmas lunch. The food was excellent. They remembered to send everything we would need for serving. All utensils, plates, cups, ice.. Food was hot and delicious and very reasonable. Great experience!!
