The Winchester

The Winchester is a beautiful, modern, rustic establishment with excellent, quality food and service. I had the Bourbon Salmon with Garlic Green Beans and a baked potato paired with a Broadside Cabernet Sauvignon. Dessert was a brownie cheesecake. Live music added an excellent ambiance to the dinner. Our waiter was excellent. Highly recommend.

I love coming here because the food is delicious and love the atmosphere but something happened today that just shattered my heart. I stopped in to get my favorite thing in the world, the Potato Croquettes. I tell everyone I meet about the Potato Croquettes because they are so unique and delicious!!! Today when I ordered them I was told they don’t make them anymore, even though the guests loved them. I just want a reason, closure maybe. I want to understand what caused this decision. I hope I hear back as to the specifics of why they were discontinued. I didn’t even know the last visit I had here that I was eating my last Potato Croquette, I would have savored it more. 😔💔 please reconsider.

UPDATE: Wow. This is a great business, they actually listen to their customers feedback!! THEY ARE BACK baby . the coveted potato croquettes are back. We did it everyone, it’s a great day. I got two orders today and will be back soon. Thank you Winchester , from all of us. ❤🫡 I now have no complaints about the Winchester. It’s a great place to eat and relax. 10000/10.

The food was outstanding and the all of the waiters or most outstanding as well as the servers on the buff line awesome

Very good food and beautiful restaurant located inside The Delta. Server was okay, restaurant wasn’t super busy but server seemed overwhelmed.

So we didn't end up eating here really. Had an appetizer and some drinks just to kind of check the place out. Very nice, clean atmosphere, great bartender. We did end up having the cheese curds which were probably the best I've had in a long long time. We did look over the menu but I will admit, this is a place we'd have to come to right after getting paid. Prices weren't too bad, and I'm assuming the price will reflect the quality. Half the time, at a standard steak house chain restaurant, you pay a decent price but the food ends up being less than superb. I've heard from alot of people that the food at The Winchester is very good. Plan on coming here at some point for dinner. Our bartender was extremely nice and easy to talk to. We came late at night so couldn't really experience how this place runs during a dinner service. Can't wait to come back.

DO NOT MISS THE CHEESY CRAB NACHOS TO START YOUR MEAL! Everything here is great, always hot and fresh, always served with a smile! The Captain's Platter (Scallops, Shrimp, Fish, & Snow Crab Cluster) is my go-to when ordering! Mixed drinks are well made and flavorful, atmosphere is calm and soothing.

The food was way better than your typical hotel restaurant. The bourbon slushie is a must. The ambiance is very pleasant and the waiter very attentive.

Carol and Megan were just as amazing as the food and drink. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was charming and excited. This was my first time. If you've never been, go. Ask for Megan. She knows how to treat customers right!

The Winchester was a wonderful place to have dinner. Food was excellent and staff was wonderful. Location in the Delta Marriott in Ashland Kentucky. Great experience. I loved the decor.

Gorgeous restaurant with fair pricing ( at least for breakfast) I was the only person there oddly but I'm sure the dinner crowd packs in. Worth checking out..very unique/upscale.

Wife and I stayed at the Delta in Ashland and decided to go down and check out the in house restaurant, know as The Winchester. We were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff, and the food was amazing. We began with potato skins as an appetizer. The skin was crispy and perfectly salted. The cheese melted to perfection and the bacon with the perfect combo of crisp and grease.I had the ribeye, . Perfect char, extremely tender, could have eaten it with a spoon. The wife had the snow crab legs, buttery, tender, perfectly cooked. The Winchester house salad was top notch as well. Overall I would highly recommend stopping by the Winchester if your ever in Ashland.

Waitresses was amazing...drinks was good & so was the food. Hannah was my waitress & the bar tender...she was knowledgeable about the food & very nice!

Went in to try on a weekday evening. My waitress Brooke was very friendly and helpful giving recommendations on items from the menu. Also service was very prompt, she went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. My appetizer and entree were good. Their desserts were phenomenal! Definitely will be returning to dine again.

When I went at lunch time, it was dead in there. Seated quickly and greeted by my server, Hayden, I believe was her name. She was very friendly and quirky and didn't judge me for ordering 2 apps even though I was alone.
I think my server had multiple tasks while the restaurant was slow because she didn't come to the table unless she was bringing food. That's not really her fault and I wasn't mad about it, I just asked for refills when she brought my apps and my entre and it worked out great.
The place was clean, easily accessible and I will continue to visit regularly.

Excellent place to have a nice dinner or lunch. Burgers are juicy. Fries are incredible.

Had a relatively nice experience. The AC was out and was a little stuffy but the service and food were great. The green beans weren't anything special otherwise the rest of the dinner was great.

Party of 10. Our server was excellent and attentive. Food was very good for the price. I saw many brag about the bourbon slushy and we all agreed that those are tasty. Everyone agreed that we book this place again next visit.

My friends and I had a great time at the Winchester.. Bourbon Slushies were awesome as well as the food, service, atmosphere and our waitress!!! Definitely will be back!!

Wonderful restaurant. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

The only criticism I have is that when a customer asks for their steak burnt on the outside and medium rare on the inside, I want it to actually be burnt, or charred on the outside. Not just grill marks.

Whatever grill the kitchen is using, needs to be turned up to a higher heat setting if possible. If it's not possible, you need to get a better grill.

Sarah is the best bartender!! She’s always so nice and helpful when it comes to my many different drink orders. She takes her time to enjoy the customers and it’s always a good night when she’s working. Sarah is definitely worth it.
