La Pietra-Woodfired Pizza

Came to join my husband for lunch and visited La Pietra restaurant, we enjoyed the Lasagna, which is cooked to order, the parmesan cheese was fresh, along with all its ingredients.
Lunch special was on point, 7.99 and it included a delicious Greek salad.

Great Pizza! I stopped by with a buddy and we shared the 16" Margarita Pizza(added pepperoni), a Ceasar Salad, and Caprese. All was pretty good and filing, even brought 3 slices home. Will recommend and will be visiting again! Wait staff was very helpful and attentive.

Traveling through Cooper and found this gem. Awesome wood fired pizza. Friendly small town service, super clean restaurant. If you love authentic pizza, you will love this place.

Service was great; we got our food in no time. I tried the sweet and spicy pizza to try something different. I would definitely recommend a try, even if you have never had pineapple on pizza, which was my case. The crust is on the softer side, if a bit floppy, but is still very tasty. I usually like the crispier kind, but, of course, it was still delicious, so I am sure if you do not usually like softer crusts you still would like this pizza.

Amazing pizza in such a small town!!! I went in to place an order to go at lunch time, and was shocked to see that the restaurant was empty on the busy square. I never did figure that out, because the pizza was amazing!! We ordered two larges for the crew that I had to feed - one was sausage and onion, and the other had pepperoni, mushrooms, caramelized onions and garlic and it was so crazy good that I wanted to order it again for dinner, LOL. I think I'm just in LOVE. <3

Wonderful wood fire pizza! We are visiting from the Dallas suburbs and decided to try this restaurant for dinner. We had the all meat pizza and the margarita pizza. Both were absolutely delicious! Some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten - and I’ve eaten a lot of pizza! The service was also great, with the staff constantly bringing more soda or tea to us on their own initiative. We all loved our meal and would highly recommend this restaurant!

I love this place. The Pizza is delicious with some great recipes. Talked to David and Juan who are really cool guys. They even gave our daughter a ball of Pizza dough to play with to keep her happy. Try the Delta Spice Pizza...the cilantro and fried onion strings set it off!

You want to complain about the price go to Pizza Hut or buy a frozen one and make it yourself. You want to complain about the authenticity go to Paris, Commerce, or Sulphur Springs there's Italian restaurants in all of them and for all I know, they could be more authentic.

This place is excellent and true to its name. "The Stone - Woodfired Pizza" tastes delicious, is clean, has good service, and a decent atmosphere, and serves Italian cuisine including fried calamari and lamb. Priced fairly for the quality of the food and ingredients. I honestly believe they would take a loss if they didn't have the volume they do.

Not what you expect in a small town. We had Caesar salads filled with cheese. Delish. Woodfired pizza was absolutely delish. Not too much sauce, nice amount of ingredients and the taste was incredible. I will definitely make this a stop next time I’m in the area!

Great pizzas.. but their entrees are truly outstanding!
Try the Lamb Chops, Sirloin or blackened Salmon.
You won't be disappointed!

We tried it and it was very good. We were sceptical because we were the only ones dining in but as we ate they were constantly making pizzas to go. They must have made a dozen. The wood fired oven really turns out a great tasting crust. We will definitely be back again soon. I think I might try the ribeye next time.

Wonderful food and great service every single time. Their prices are reasonable, it's always clean, and it's spacious, so even when crowded, there is still room to move around. I recommend the Chicken Florentine pizza if you're not sure what to order.

Pleasantly surprised! We enjoyed our dinners last evening to the fullest! The salmon was excellent, the lamb tender and the chicken piccata was delicious! Portions were big and the price perfect! You do not want to miss this little jewel in Cooper!

Stopped in today and was not disappointed! Excellent thin crust pizza and equally tasty spaghetti and red sauce! The layout and decor could use some work, but overall a very good meal!

Was told by a local from Sulphur Springs that this was the best pizza for miles. I, being a long time pizza restaurant owner in Florida, had to try it. Well worth the 25 minute drive to Cooper. Clean....great service. They use fresh ingredients here as La Pietra....plus high quality Caputo flour for their dough. Their oven is a TRUE wood burning oven which imparts just enough char on the crust. Their use of fresh cut basil shows that their attention to true Neopolitan pizza is taken very seriously. Want a good pizza in an area of Texas, where great pizza is hard to find....? Then head for La Pietra, which means STONE..... as in your pizza is cooked on actual stone in a true wood fired oven...and is truly delicious! Wish they had a location in Coastal Mississippi!!!!

More than just good, no great pizza. The chef (yes I said chef ) David prepare some of the best meals that will cross your lips with wonderful prestatioun. Great salads, lamb that melts in your mouth, salmon to die for. I have ate all over the world and this ltttle dinner will stand with the best.

Lamb is my favorite on menu, but all is great, and good people. Nice to have local real food on a rural town! We typically eat here weekly.
