Quality napkins, quality baked goods. Quality coffee. I loved their pistachio croissant. That’s a must have. Even if you’re not into nuts you won’t regret trying it. I don’t remember there being any crushed or whole nuts in the croissant but you can tell it’s made with the real deal. Very reminiscent of st.pattys day

Very different from the store over near Montrose. Much smaller menu, but what’s here is good! Staff are friendly and fast. The drive through does a lot of business. Looking forward to using the large patio on a slightly warmer day. We had an oat milk latte, iced americano and vanilla scone

This is my favorite place for coffee and a delicious pastry! The almond and pistachio croissants are some of the best I’ve ever had! And the frozen bond is so good!

I decided on the combo meal. Turkey, avocado and bacon sandwich on a multi-grain bread. I received chips, fresh chocolate chip cookie and london-fog latte. Cost? Around $15 dollars + tip.

Great weather for sitting out on the patio, while I studied for my (STR) Science Teaching of Reading certification test.

Years ago, I came to this location, but it was another Ma & Pa's establishment. I hope the 'Common Bond' coffee and bakery's establishment sticks around; here in the heart of Heights for many years to come.

Great, and I mean great hot regular latte! After a wonderful lunch with a great friend at another place, we hit it for some drive-by caffeine. Did not disappoint. The young lady working the window could not be nicer! I've seen complaints about customer service but not today baby. Come one, come all.

Convenient version with popular items common bond bakeries. Quick drive through is perfect for COVID safety. Social distanced in store ordering is also available. Reasonably sized convenient parking. More than ample bicycle parking. Conveniently located in a prominent location along Heights Blvd.

The food and the service were very good, the breakfast menu is catered to the size and traffic flow which is great for me. The lobby is not huge but there are a few tables, and bar stools in case you want to grab a coffee or tea and cop a quick squat , there's also an outside patio area . We saw quite a few patrons walking their dogs ,so it is a dog friendly establishment.

Nice place to pick up food and head off to work! I got both salads they offer, and a dessert from them too! My favorite is the Seared Salmon Salad.

Try the Frozen Common Bond! Awesome way to caffeinate during the summer. This is the first time I've been to this location and I'm happy to say the quality is just as high as the original. I love being able to go through the drive through. Super friendly staff as well.

I thought the croissants were amazing! So light and fluffy. Coffee was wonderful too. I always try a new place with a coffee black and this one was a great quality. I'll be back for sure.

The lemongrass pork sandwich is my fav go-to midweek lunch! Coffee is good. Patio is dog friendly.
Heads up that sometimes the wait time is long here spending on which staff are working. They’re all very nice which I appreciate. I just try to check through the window who is working there before I stop in on a day when I’m in a hurry.
The scone with the nuts & seeds was delicious! I also love to pick up a loaf of sprouted sourdough for the week as well. Great neighborhood spot.

The drive thru was on time and the food was delicious. The chicken salad croissant and the lattes were great. I definitely will come back to this place again.

My favorite thing here is the Texas club. 🥪❤ it's one of my most satisfied pregnancy cravings so far. Any sandwich made on a croissant is bound to be good, but the quality of turkey plus the smashed avocado, crispy bacon, fresh veggies, it's just all good!

I visit Houston every few months and Common Bond is always a must. I have to admit that my two prior occasions almost made me not want to come back. I literally said 3rd times a charm, so in or out Marcella??? On this last visit I am proud to say, I am definitely in. My chicken salad croissant was amazing!!! If you haven’t had it before, you are missing out. The real reason for writing this review wasn’t only to tell you how good my croissant was or how refreshing the hibiscus lemonade was, but to talk about the customer service I received. Everyone was so friendly and while I was seated enjoying my lunch, the manager Kvante came by to speak to me and surrounding tables. This young man was a delight. To hear him talk about how great his new team is was great for me to hear. He was genuinely happy to hear I was happy and even offered an apology when I told him this was almost my last time in this location. I am thrilled to say, “See you in late August when I am back in town!” Keep up the great work!!

First time trying them and I love them, skip starbys for once and try it! I had a cinnamon croissant and it was a banger!

One of my favorite shops especially for the drive thru, frozen coffee, and service. The macarons are like a cherry on top. It would be AMAZING if their oatmeal cream pies were gluten friendly, because they look so delicious. The lack of gluten friendly options is the only downside. Of course they wouldn't be entirely gluten free, but that's ok for me (and likely many other people). The employees are always great even when you can tell they aren't at their best. They're always professional, polite, and kind. The only reason I have the atmosphere 4 *'s is the acoustics- it can get loud in there fast. But just like this rating, it's a personal opinion. Objectively, many small spaces get loud fast, so there's practically no helping it without making major changes. That's one reason I like the big patio. Still, I love this place! I hope it will be there for a long time!

I'm so glad more independent coffee shops are gearing towards drive thru. I need more options than Starbucks and their ridiculously long lines!

I love that this Common Bond is less than 5 minutes from my house, and that it's along the way to work.Typically I'll grab coffee on the go or a few pastries to share with fellow colleagues. Their location is much smaller than the others, which makes it more discrete. I have noticed lately that the drive thru is getting a bit busier lately. Although it is smaller, their menu is still extensive. I'll either get the frozen bond (espresso, whole milk, sugar - already pre blended), or a hot Nutella latte. Nutella is not a syrup on their menu, but it is an option. You'd usually see it at their other locations.

Overall, Common Bond on-the-go Heights location, is my preferred, quick go-to for coffee on the road.
