Chef Angel Mi Restaurante

Chef Angel has become our regular “jam” for mouth watering Mexican food in Sherman. Now that we’ve been here a dozen+ times we know is consistently awesome.

We have many favorites but for your first time I recommend you try the Fajitas - you will not be let down. Kaylee is our usual server and she remembers our preferences and is always so nice to us. The Chefs name is actually Victor (his kids name is Angel and he knows what is UP).

We are huge fans of Chef Angel Mi Restaurante and will be coming back for years!!

Carne Asada is amazing. It comes on a bed of nopal(cactus). Black bean dip is the best I have tried, and the salsa is fantastic!

Simply the best. Good God almighty this was incredible. This restaurant deserves all the love and praise it gets and then some. I have never been so impressed by a meal, and I can't wait to come back. Thank you so much for the food, see y'all again soon.

Food and service are always excellent. The owners and staff are super nice and friendly. Prices are reasonable and you can earn points towards discounts when you use your debit/credit card.

Are you kidding me!?!? This place is a sleeper! You pass by and think, “oh it looks like a house, where do I park?” Oh there’s parking, and it ain’t just any ol’ house. Wendy and wonderful staff are fantastic! The food is and was out of this world. We’re coming back! Again and again and again……..

This place was a little piece of Los Angeles, something out of a little town outside of Mexico City on the movies....these people are Rooted down Genuine, it's in an area just south east of Austin college in a beautiful lil neighborhood, just down from a Nice open, manicured Soccer field of the city and Sherman high, nice place for the teachers to bring their family, pasture to bring his flock, and some good down home type Sherman citizens. There are several different cultural churches in the area. They have a monster Burrito that is known all around sher Den and is soon to debut on a food network show for their breakfast and monster Burritos, they are currently looking in to more dinner type arrangement installing a bar ..but drinks are available in a low key setting, as many as can drink 🍻🍷🙂....very interesting lil piece of Texoma land and this is a vital business to the city and a large part of our diet. Thank you Angel 😇... home place of Bee Happy Pequin wafers, Opalized desert they carry, they offer for bulk or small bulk purchase to other retailers at a reasonable cost. Very neat product

We had the quesabirria tacos and their rice and beans, and Angel queso. This place was delicious. The staff was also so friendly and knowledgeable.

Delicious meal! I had chicken fajitas and asked for a side of their plátanos fritos that was listed with another meal on the daily special board. The server was very friendly and the atmosphere was clean and cozy. I live out of state and was very happy to find this place.

OMG the best place in town for authentic Mexican food outside of Mexico to which I travel often. This was delicious and the staff is super pleasant and most helpful

Amazing food and great service, came in on a Sunday evening when it wasn't busy and the dishes were awesome. Ordered the quesadilla, machete, consume, and avacado burger. Pics below 10/10

My family and I really enjoyed having lunch here today. The food was delicious and our service was excellent! They have unlimited fresh fruit waters that I highly recommend trying. I had pineapple and my brother had mango. They were yummy!! 😋

Birria Tacos!!!! It is your typical beef rather than the traditional goat meat, but let me tell ya woooowee we're those tacos delicious! The consume dipping soup was amazing as well. My spouse got the torta and said it was delicious as well. I also got and shared a Piña Agua Fresca with my son who kept saying mmmmm good with every drink (he's only 2 years old). I definitely recommend this place for dine in or take out. The restaurant is small, quaint, and cozy. It is also very clean. The kind lady that took our order was very helpful in our ordering process. Will keep going back, that's for sure.
