Sandeez Hamburger Hut

I got the fish basket w/sweet potato fries. Despite the odd looking fish...it was amazingly tasty! My roommate got the Savvy Melt w/tater tots and was thoroughly impressed. Great job Sandeez...well worth the drive from Westlake!

Wow! Talk about a throwback to the diner experience. First time here and loved it! I had a very, VERY good fish sandwich, two crispy filets with the right amount of mayo and lettuce. Nothing fancy. Just a very good sandwich. Fries are seasoned so well, skinny and crunchy. I just started a job down the street and will definitely be back!!!

Love this long-standing burger joint! I’ve been going to get burgers here since early 2000. Never disappoints! We live in Round Rock but will take a trip to Lakeway just to eat the best burger in town!

Good little hole in the wall area with nice outdoor sitting area. Fries don't taste like you typical burger place, more of that real potato taste you get at places like 5 guys. I got the Guido burger with mozzarella, pepperoni and marinara and substituted texas toast per the workers recommendation. So good, like a mix of a meatball sub and burger.

Wow stopped here while looking for some food, super amazing Buffalo chicken sandwich with some pickle chips and a drink. Will stop by again if I’m in the area

The Saavy just became my favorite burger in the Austin area. I mean, SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!! If you are ever out near Lakeway, do yourself a favor and stop at Sandeez.

This place looks like it has been here forever, which is a good thing. I've lived here 35 years and never eaten here at SANDEEZ until now, and it was EXCELLENT!!!!! Had to wait a pretty good long while for our cheeseburgers, but it was worth it, sat outside in the shade of tall oak trees and was a delightful meal. My wife said there was seating available inside where she ordered our food. Best time to go is ANYTIME that no one else is there:::::))))) the french fries were absolutely cut from real taters, a bit skinny for my wife, but I loved them::))!!

A great place for lunch or breakfast. The burgers are good, just wished they used regular buns instead of the sweet ones, nothing wrong with them, I just don't like the sweet taste with a burger. The onions rings are great, I don't know if they make their own, but they taste that way.

Such a cool place, great burger and ever better staff. I highly recommend coming by on a Friday afternoon for lunch and to see some cool cars

Cool local place! We enjoyed a quick lunch here recently. Although it's nothing "fancy" it's a great locally-owned place with tons of character. The staff working was very helpful and went the extra mile for us, very personable. Will definitely go back! soon

Im absolutely in love with this place. To start, it has a very southern country diner feel. The staff are polite and attentive, and the food is always made good. They also have a variety of foods like breakfast, burgers, BLTs, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, and many more. If you like sandwiches and burgers, i highly reccomend you try. Get it for dine in and enjoy the atmosphere or take it outside to their outdoor dining. Its worth trying at least once.

I first stumbled onto this place many years ago on my way out to Hurst Harbor on Lake Travis. With so may good burger joints in Austin, it's always fun to find another place that takes it seriously (the food). Inside, the place is plastered with stickers. It's laid-back and inviting. Last time there I had a cheeseburger and fries (which were hand-cut). Loved every bite. While I was inside, a guy was raving about the chicken fried steak sandwich he had just eaten - that is next for me. They have a full breakfast menu and a plate lunch special as well. Go check it out!

im crying so hard right now because i heard that sandeez is shutting down forever tomorrow because i had so many great childhood memories there with my dad. he would take me there for an after-school snack every week or two. we would just split some onion rings and fries and chill out and eat and then go home. those times were during the good old days for me, so this really devastates me. this place has its own private penthouse in my heart, i mean that. you guys were the best of the best! a true legend in my heart. i wish i lived in the alternate universe where you werent closing.

The owner and staff are the best. Food excellent. Great menu and you can put spinach on your burger if you want. I highly recommend Sandy's hamburger hut. I am there every Friday for the car shows from 11 a.m. to 2 see you there...

Excellent!! We came in with a to go order for 7 people and the person working the counter was very helpful and thorough. When we got home our order was correct and there was plenty of condiments in the bag. Their burgers were awesome and the hand-cut fries were delish!

THE BEST BURGERS EVER!!! I LOVE THIS PLACE, I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND GOING HERE! They have different varieties of burgers,it's not your average everyday burger. My son had a Buffalo Burger, I had a cabrezzy and it was DELICIOUS! I WILL DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK! Staff is friendly and very helpful they know how to offer excellent customer service!
