Let me start by saying that they made a difficult time for my family much easier. Planning and executing a funeral involves a lot more than I thought it would, and for most it comes at an already overwhelming time. Everyone at Griffin-Roughton understands this and is dedicated to making the process as easy as possible. They are sympathetic, easy to work with and go above and beyond in helping you through the entire process, including providing tips and services after the funeral to help manage the estate.

Used these folks twice over the past couple years for my brother and my mother. I have nothing but great things to say about the services they provide. Everything was perfect and exactly the way I wanted. Attended four other funerals provided by Grifton-Roughton for close family and everything was great for them as well. Highly recommend. The funeral director is very professional and upfront about all cost not leaving anything to surprise.

They was very helpful, At a time that I didn’t know what to do or where to start. They patiently help me through most difficult time I’ve gone through.

Our family has used them many times for deaths in our family. Staff is very helpful and compassionate. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional staff to help with anything in your time of grief.

Staff needs to be easier to talk with.

My niece Brenda White Cates was sent to Griffin Roughton funeral home and all I can say is if you are not wealthy Do not take your loved one here, my niece’s family was treated not only completely without respect but were met with disdain and indifference to their pain and grief. They would not even put the tent at the cemetery by the graveside but so far away many of the elderly people couldn’t walk there. They would not allow a procession to the cemetery and as a result some didn’t make it there because they got lost. If you want your loved one to have a lovely service do not use Griffin Roughton!

The staff was not any where near welcoming
it seemed as an inconvenience to them, when we was asked what we wanted in my dad’s obituary they wrote it down but was not put in his obituary no one contacted us or emailed us to proof read anything before it was printed My dad was A Vietnam War Vet no where was this recognized or nor was his profession as a welder was mentioned in his obituary as told to them to be in his obituary. He was cremated when no one called us to let us knw he was ready to be picked up if we hadn’t called we wouldn’t hve known when we did go to get him he was sitting on the front desk out in the open very unprofessional
Our family Does not recommend this place at all in your time of grief... if I was able to choose I’d give them 0 stars no respect for the deceased
