This place had a great atmosphere and Laura was amazing. The food was the best part. My father had the Reuben and it was amazing. I wanted something lighter and the chicken salad sandwich w/ avocado was delicious. We will be back next time we’re in Corsicana.

This place was a real surprise. We were looking for something decent to eat on the way to Dallas and this was a worthwhile detour. We stopped on the way back too. Quality ingredients, well executed dishes and good service.

This is a quiet little restaurant. Everything is made from scratch, and the food is delectable. I like a good waffle. Their waffles are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The service is great and has a small town feel. Everyone makes you feel as if they've known you their whole life. Highly recommend.

A great spot for a tasty lunch with generous portions! I tried the Tuna Melt with onion rings. Tuna melt was two open-face slabs of rye with a slice of cheese topping off the tuna salad spread, very good and filling. Onion rings are crispy! Quite flavorful. Seems like most of downtown wants to eat there on Friday, but I didn't have to wait for a table, and my server was a sweetheart with excellent tips on the menu.

Good old hometown diner. Great decor and comfortable atmosphere. Menu choices are simple but prepared well. They treat you like family. Coffee refills are fast and the service is amazing. Excellent small town stop for a lazy Saturday road trip.

Love this little hidden gem in downtown Corsicana, Texas. We had the Mediterranean Salad, Ruben and Chicken Ceasar Salad. Everything was wonderful! The decor takes you back to times past.
I will definitely keep this place on my list and return every time I get a chance.

The gas was out in the whole city this day, but the restaurant was still in business. The server was so helpful and nice. The food was good, I do wish I had sausage gravy, but im not sure if it was an option. The biscuits were so fluffy that I couldn't stop drinking it, even though i was freezing. The sweet tea was sweet and strong. The restaurant gave such an old milkshop vibe. It was cute.

This is the best meal I have had in a while. Their lunch special was meatloaf but I was hungry for chicken fried steak. It was cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside, tender inside. Pipping hot gravy, fresh green beans- not canned, perfect mashed potatoes. Even the toast was perfectly toasted. I don’t usually finish an entire plate and I’ll ask for a to go box. Not this time. I couldn’t stop eating and I’m still stuffed. Quick friendly service too!

My family needed to meet up to send my girls on for a summer visit. We purposely chose Corsicana because we found Across The Street Diner for our breakfast option!

I reserved a table the night before. We showed 20 minutes early and were sat immediately! They were so friendly! I had Emily. She was knowledgeable of the menu asking all the write questions.

100% recommend the chicken and waffles! The Crab Cakes Eggs Benedict too! I had the Monte Cristo. Everything was delicious and affordable!

A must-visit in Corsicana. I can vouch for the patty melt and the chicken and waffle. Both are delicious!

LOVE this restaurant! Was so excited to see Andreas was the chef!!! He is just awesome came out and talked to us and our meal was outstanding! Crab cakes and sea scallops were ordered! With a wonderful bottle of wine! Can't wait to come back!

GREAT FIND in Corsicana, TX! Wonderful decor in a vintage drugstore. Food was extremely good. Service was courteous and efficient. Priced as expected.

It's very neat tidy and clean. Service is excellent staff are amazing. Food comes out in a timely manner and is always as ordered. Overall good spot to eat for breakfast or brunch

The staff was really friendly and quick to help serve everyone. I love the environment and the look that the diner has. I wish I would've taken a picture of the food because it's presentation was so cute. The food was too good, I'm just sad that they were out of Ratatouille by 12 but that's ok! That's only a reason to come back earlier next time. You must try their dessert as well!! The cheesecake, red velvet and lemon cake are to die for and the chocolate chips cookies are a must!

You can't go wrong here. Delightful little restaurant. Prime grade steaks. We ordered delmonico steaks, crab cakes, escargot, stuffed grape leave, cheese ravioli. Escargot could have used more flavor but was tender. Everything else was top notch. I've eaten in some of the finest steaks house across the country and to find this gem is fantastic. Superb service and attentive staff. Would recommend. I'll be back ALoha

Delish brunch. The pancakes were huge and fluffy and delicious!!! Great service from everyone. I highly recommend and can't wait until I can visit them again.

These salads we ordered were phenomenal! And huge. So much freshness.

This was our second visit as we live hours away, but we drive between Dallas and College Station (kid at TAMU). It's definitely worth a little detour off of the highway. I prefer to support local businesses and not subject myself to fast food so often. We will continue to eat here on our trips.
