Collin Street Bakery - 7th Ave Corsicana

This place came highly recommended by some dear friends. I'm glad we stopped. They have a ton of options to meet your sweet tooth and breakfast needs. They also have gluten free options. I tried several items and was pleased with them all. The staff were southern sweet tea sweet.

They have original taste , everything taste so fresh . If you are in town do try this place and also plus point is that its way cheaper if we compare the price to city places . Staff is very nice to and they have place to sit to

This was my first visit and I was very happy. There were plenty of sweet options and savory (sandwich or wrap). The service was also good. The coffee was extremely good. Even though we also got several to go itens, we will definitely go back to try some of the other goodies!

Beautiful, cozy, friendly place with a large selection of yummy and unique baked goods. The pecan bread is not sweet - and it’s great used as a sandwich, with their chicken salad. The refrigerator cookies are dense and chewy.

So happy we stopped by on Wednesday evening! The staff was absolutely sweeter than pie and so helpful. Outsold highway rest stops in every way possible!!

Amazing picturesque old-fashioned bakery with something for everyone. Delicious baked goods still warm and ready to eat on-site, or to go. They also have boxed lunches and drinks you can eat as a picnic on their covered patio. Finally, they sell boxed pies and cakes like their Apricot-Pecan cake. Wow!! 👍😊 This is a great stop while traveling. A true landmark of Texas!

I legitimately don't like fruitcake, and the sample I got here changed my mind and has me craving it. The cookies, the cherry ice box in particular, are absolutely amazing here. Did not try any deli options on this trip, though I intend to next time I'm in town.

My mom would always order their fruit cake every Christmas She thought it was THE best! Now for me I love their cookies!! OMG The wait staff was friendly and made me feel welcomed in the store

I have been getting fruit cake from there since the 90s but always mail ordered them. For the second year we have gone in person to the bakery and it is fantastic. Their staff and the store itself is awesome.

Wonderful selection of baked goods, delicious coffee, great customer service, and nice clean restrooms. A very relaxing, must-see stop if you are anywhere close to Coriscana!

The breakfast Sandwich egg sausage cheese was excellent. The croissant was so buttery-flaky and just melted in your mouth definitely worth the trip!

I got Lemon bar for the road. Should of bought more! All staff were very nice!

I ordered a deluxe fruit cake on line. It was shipped to me. I absolutely love it. Recommend this to those who, like me, love fruitcake.

Collin Street bakery was The Stop we made on drives to visit my grandparents when I was a kid. It's still the only place I, or most of my family would consider buying a fruit cake from.

So 5 stars for nostalgia.

Last week I passed through Corsicana for work and was super excited to stop at the original Collin Street bakery for snacks. I bought a sugar kiss cookie and a cup of strawberries for my snack and it was delicious. On my way out of town the next day I got a kolache, apple fritter and a cup of coffee for breakfast, and it was wonderful. I really love that the apple fritter had fresh apple instead of pie filling.

So 5 stars for my most recent trip.

I've also stopped at the location in Waco a few times, and it was good, but lacks the charm of the old bakery.

First time here. Passing thru otw to Longview, Texas. Tried the Small Triple Grilled Cheese and the Health Club sandwich. They were so delicious! The blueberry muffin was good, just needed more blueberries.
The bathrooms were nice , the whole place was cute.

I stopped in on my way to visit my folks to grab my dad a fruitcake and some lunch, and I'll be darned if they didn't make me the best chicken salad sandwich I've ever eaten (and I'm a long-distance driver, so trust me when I say I've eaten A LOT of chicken salad sandwiches.) The people are super nice, and everything smells delicious! I can't attest to the fruitcake just because I absolutely loathe fruitcake in general, but my parents sure do love it!

Stopped in on the way through town today. Everyone was so nice. Fruitcake sample was delicious. Donna and Alexis helped me choose a perfect dessert. Key Lime cheesecake! I’ll be back!

I’ve been a lifetime fan of Collins Street Bakery. My father got their fruitcakes as gifts at Christmas, and I always thought we’d gotten a really big treat. Any time I go near one I have to stop and buy one of their cakes and some of their delicious cookies. They have expanded to sandwiches also. The stores are always clean, the employees are very friendly, and their food is delicious!

On a recent visit to the 7th St Corsicana store, my group and I were very impressed with the three young employees: Larry, Lory, and Coby. Their attention and patience toward some quite demanding and unique customers (customers paying with a lot of coins; several very hard of hearing) was impressive! It was, by far, one of my best visits (and I've had many at various CSB stores!).

Called Collins Street Corsicana to send products to South Carolina and Wisconsin. Reasonable time frame 5 to 7 business days. Reputable carrier. Was kept informed throughout delivery process. Only change was carrier did not notify recipients ( use to call). CSR didn't ask for recipients #.

I stop by anytime I'm in the area. They are famous for their fruitcake but the cookies are amazing! Check out the seconds store around the corner for fruitcake that tastes the same but might not be as pretty and costs less.
