La Pradera Mexican Restaurant

Great service! We were pleasantly greeted and immediately seated. The resturant was pretty clean and the decor looked authentic. Our waiter said he is in the Marines, but I can't remember his name. Very kind demeanor. Another lady also came to our table to check on us. Our entrees were beautifully plated and the food was delish!

We stopped here for a quick lunch on a road trip. We honestly weren't expecting that much from a chain restaurant, but the food was rather good! Chips and salsa could have been better, but the beef fajitas were really good. The Thursday lunch special was an awesome deal. Service was really good too.

Our first time eating here and it was great! All the employees were so nice and friendly. I had steak fajita nachos and the meat was so tender!

Was looking for a place to get take out. When I saw the packed parking lot I knew it must be good to have that many cars there. Went in and ordered a couple different combination plates, both came with refried beans and rice, order a couple of crispy tacos also. Waited a little while then they brought the food. It was hot and smelled so good. Enchiladas were excellent as was the tamales and tacos. Burrito was plentiful. It really hit the spot for me and my traveling companion. Authentic Mexican cooking, there’s nothing like it. Has my jaws chopping want to go find some right now.

One our favorite places to go when in Corsicana. They always have great food. Plenty of options for all ages and diets.

Other restaurants in the area were a 45 min wait. They got us in under 10 minutes. Service was very quick and friendly. Also the portions were sizable and the food tasted good.

This was a very lovely restaurant with fantastic staff & food. The complimentary chips & salsa was so delicious. The chips were light & crisp with a hint of salt that paired wonderfully with the salsa. Then we tried the frog dip (not photographed) aka loaded queso garnished with a dollop of sour cream, guacamole, pico & ground meat. Not gonna I was iffy about the name, but it turned out to be awesome. I ordered the pineapple & mango margarita (frozen) it could've used a little more ice to make it thicker, but the flavor was there. I would've added an additional shot of tequila as it was a little weak. I wanted to order something that wasn't my usually, so I opted for the Ruby Special. Grilled flank steak in a delish sauce with peppers and onions served with beans & rice. I chose not to eat the tortillas that came with it. I really enjoyed my experience dining here & Marasal was an outstanding waitress. Especially since our party was 25+ individuals. She didn't miss a beat!!!

Not sure what was going on here, came to eat OMI but it was closed and settled for this place. Waitress was either hustling for tips or needed to share her life story in 2 minute snippets.not the worse but definitely not the best.

I wasn't sure what to expect. There aren't many restaurants around. Don't judge the outside. The inside looks pretty authentic. It's clean, the service is great and the food is fresh, generous and very tasty. Noah took good care of us.

I came to celebrate my mom's birthday. They sang for her and gave her a sopapilla. Come check it out. The tables are beautiful and match the chairs perfectly. My mom loved the music!

Some criticisms I would add is to wipe down the menus. Especially the drink menus. The light literally reflects off of the coated syrup on a few of them.

This is always a favorite restaurant. Consistent with the food and service, which is not found everywhere.

Above average Mexican.

Wish we would not have been on the road so we could try a Margarita with the chips!

Elvia was our server and did a great job. We had the cheese enchiladas with a crispy taco and a cold beer. They grilled onions and fresh jalapenos to top it off perfectly. Thank god my ♥ is protected with VASCEPA!

Our waitress was very friendly and good at her job. While we were there, an elderly lady fell and the staff did a fantastic job of helping her and making sure she was alright!

The chicken fajitas were super flavorful, queso cheesy, and the margarita strong. Fantastic place for lunch or dinner!!

The food here used to be pretty bad. I’m very glad it has changed. I have loved eating here for about a year now. The food is good quality. The tacos taste good. The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere and it’s not intimidating. I enjoy their sweet tea. They also usually have music going.

Ordered on door dash 8-20-23 and they got the fajitas slightly wrong. But the general manager there was AMAZING. Fixed it immediately and even brought it to me. That’s above and beyond expectations.

Our waitress was amazing!!! And the portions of food is insane!!!! One order of nachos can easily feed 2-3 people. And they taste SOOOOO GOOOOD!!!!!! Definitely gotta try this place🩷🩷🩷

Made the mistake of going an hour and twenty minutes before close. See waitress made sure to let us know when she finally decided to come take our order 30 minutes later. We ordered a shrimp enchilada for our four-year-old we made sure she knew it was. Well we got with a bowl of wood look like soup with jalapenos in little pieces of shrimp in it. Our daughter could not even eat it. After we said something she pretty much told her sorry about your bad luck and walked off. The atmosphere itself felt very hostile and tense we kept having to repeat asking for things that we already asked for. The waitress pretty much threw her food on the table and called it good I had to get up and search for napkins because we didn't have any. Once the bill came we noticed multiple items on the receipt that we never even requested.
