Johnny’s Barbershop

This is a fantastic barbershop. I went here for the first time not too long ago and received a very high quality cut. Chase happened to be the one who cut my hair and I really appreciated his attention to the details. I also enjoyed the aesthetics and overall vibe inside. It was a great barbershop experience all around and I will be going back again.

My experience was excellent!!! Johnny has been the only barber I’ve had who walked me through why certain cuts won’t work for me personally and that has helped me tremendously in finding what works best for me!!! I recommend him for anyone who doesn’t know their style, he’ll get you straightened out.

Stopped in at the last minute because my son finally wanted to get his hair cut (if you have a teenage boy, you understand) Johnny made room in his schedule to fit us in. My son usually complains after every cut... something usually isn't right.. BUT NOT THIS TIME. This was our first time at Johnny's and my son has ZERO complaints. The shop is cozy, friendly, and inexpensive. We will be back! 👍👍 Before and after photos below!!!!

Been coming here since I moved to Nicholasville earlier this year (have been 6-7 times). I’ve had a 6 star experience each and every time! The atmosphere and service are second to none. Best cuts in the county!

My husband was a customer at Johnny's. His health was failing due to Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases, and he eventually was almost bedfast. Johnny came to our home and cut my husband's hair and shaved/groomed him. He, as always, did a great job, even with it being more difficult due to my husband's condition. He was patient, kind, compassionate, and efficient while being aware of his surroundings and considerate of our home with cleanup of any mess that might have been left. He even used a vacuum to keep the area clean! And my husband looked great! A job well-done with caring and compassion. Wow!

John has been cutting my hair for a few months now, always get a haircut I like. Highly recommend

I took my Son to Johnny's for his first barbershop experience and I will definitely take him there again. Upon entering the shop, Johnny was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxed and the shop was clean and well put together. Johnny did a wonderful job on my Son's hair and my Son was satisfied with the quality of his skill. Thank you!

First time goer --- appt making was easy and fast. Cut was top notch - Many compliments from friends and fam the day after.

Place is exceptionally clean too, will be happy to go again.

I've come here twice and both times I've been shocked by how good my hair came out; these guys really know what they're doing. Not only was my mane perfectly tamed, the scenery and soundtrack is excellent, and the experience was pleasant overall.

I will 100% be returning; have never had such confidence in a barber before to be honest

My name is David and I think I just got the best cut of my life. So John hired a new barber and she is very careful about how she cuts your hair! You can tell she is very particular and has a lot of skill! I was skeptical of course since it was her first time cutting my hair and I wasn’t 100% sold on the cut but soon afterwards John took care of the rest and honestly I couldn’t be happier about my haircut!

Walked in the other day. Johnny was taking a quick nap. But he got up immediately and gave me the quickest and one of the best haircuts I've had within 20 mins. Lucky to have him as my neighborhood barber.

I get my hair cut very vary short. I also take my landlord up there and Johnny cuts it where it will lay down and looks so good! He's our barber from now on!

First time getting my haircut at Johnny's Barbershop and will DEFINITELY continue going there. It gives you a man cave vibe as soon as you walk in the door. If you like Elvis and the Cincinnati Reds you'll feel right at home, but even if you don't they will make you feel at home anyways.. lol. Jenn does an amazing job and has a great personality to go along with it!! I would HIGHLY recommend going to see them, you will not be disappointed.

Went to Johnny’s for the first time tonight to get my boyfriend a haircut and it was a fantastic experience! Owner was so nice and kind. Awesome decor, great atmosphere, and can definitely feel the good calm energy. The owner was great with my impatient and silly little girl, very kid friendly and even gave her 2 suckers to eat while she waited. Not to mention how great of a haircut he did, hands down best hair cut my bf has ever gotten, plus it was affordable! It’s service and compassion that can only be found in a small business like this. 10/10 experience. I think my boyfriend has found a forever barber. Will DEFINITELY be back again! I’m an Elvis entertainer and very picky about my hair. I had tried a bunch of places in the area that wouldn’t listen and didn’t cut it like I wanted. Johnny listens and does it right the first time and every time. Look no further for your haircuts. No matter who’s chair you get in at Johnny’s Barbershop, you will have a great looking haircut.
