Hidden gem of Mount Pleasant and the best sushi outside of Plano/Frisco that I have tasted. Ordered 10 pieces of tuna sashimi. Sashimi is fresh and delivered daily from Dallas. The rolls are good even if ingredient list might be more limited than the big cities. Food was fresh, place is very clean and staff were very patient and helpful. I'd give it six stars if I could.

This place has some fabulous flavors in their sushi! It's kept a little cool inside, but the front outdoor seating is great. I have to say that I also appreciate their branding too! Customer service is friendly and you don't have to wait long for your food. Small space, so don't think its a good spot for big groups; maybe they can expand sometime soon!

Staff is super friendly here! I highly recommend this place if you're in the area and want sushi. You can customize almost anything you want here! I live out of town and I would definitely be back when I come back. They also serve red, white, and sake here.

One day I had Poke bowl. 2nd day I had Wok bowl with chicken. My colleague went sushi-crazy with the big combo.

Sushi Guy was an unexpected treat to find in Mt. Pleasant, TX. From the outside, it seems like little more than a hole in the wall. We were surprised to see that the menu was smaller than most of the sushi places we have been, but when we ordered we saw why. Every single roll we got was absolutely delicious. The fish tasted fresh and clean and they had signature rolls that we had not encountered at other places. The lady who took our order was so sweet and answered all of our questions about the menu. We ended up ordering dumplings and wontons for appetizers, these were hot, fresh, and bursting with flavor. We also ordered two of their combo boxes, a temptation roll, and a round eye roll (our favorite of them all) which were all full of natural flavors and were very filling. We very much enjoyed our experience at Sushi Guy.

HIGHLY recommended! My family and I love this place. I don’t like seafood, but the beef/chicken sushi roll options are soooo good! The Tajanos taste like a rice covered stuffed jalapeño. The fries are awesome and my son loves the grilled cheese. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu!

Love the food especially their succulent salmon. I however consistently go to stock up on there chop sticks they are great for putting up and pinning back my hair. I’m headache prone so tying my hair back can be a literal pain. No other chopsticks hold up that well. Love!

First time in, talked about sushi at work and boss told me about it, had to try. It lived up to his hype, excellent food, had the Texan, Gunslinger and Tejano... Can't wait to get back and try some more!!

The menu is diverse and interesting. We had two sushi rolls (Temptation and Spicy Ahi) and a Korean BBQ sandwich with fries. The food was delicious!!! I can’t wait to go back and try something else.

First time coming here today.
Small town feel, very courteous and caring folks. But the flavors are high class. I'm a big fan of sushi and sashimi and I can honestly say that I was impressed. Having been a new customer, they had no problem explaining their menu and what would be interesting to try, based off your flavor palette. The poke bowls and sides were a great addition.
I definitely recommend giving this place a try to anyone who loves sushi!!

Absolutely phenomenal! I come from the north east and I am used to having Sushi restaurants around the corner, so after hearing that a Sushi restaurant was opening up within 20 minutes of me I was excited yet hesitant.
After only finding sub par Chinese food places in the area I was a little wary about trying a Sushi place but I was more than pleasantly surprised, I can say out of all of the Sushi places that I have eaten Round Eye Sushi Guy is by far the best.
The food is absolutely delicious, and the presentation is excellent. The Rainbow Roll we ordered was perfectly aligned and matched its name perfectly. The Texas Roll was a first for me and it was by far the most tasty sushi I have ever eaten. Even the pork dumpling surprised me, normally they can be rather chewy but they were soft and full of taste. Don't even get me started on the Shrimp Pops (not on the menu, but I hope they will be)

Normally when I order rolls from a Sushi place for the prices I paid here I don't get enough food to fill me up, but I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of food I got for the money, it was definitely satisfying. Not to mention the service, the owner and chef take a lot of pride in their business and making their customers happy. They're not afraid to bribe you with food, which is always a plus :)

The overall atmosphere of the location is great, and everyone in the establishment has a very good sense of humor. If you're looking for a good meal and good laughs you can't go wrong with Round Eye Sushi Guy. Eating my "To Go" meal there instead was the best decision of the day.

I was at a workshop in Pittsburgh and went with a colleague for lunch. I had a poke bowl and my friend had two sushi rolls. Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly, helpful when ordering and got out food out quick. I received 25% off my order because we ordered before noon. Great place and I highly recommend it!!

I love this place. The staff is always super friendly and the food is pretty good. I have had one bad experience with the food, but I've since learned to stay away from the smoked salmon. But I might have just got a bad piece. Anyway, it's a bit expensive, but to have sushi in a tiny town like this is amazing, so we'll keep going back!
