La Familia Restaurant

We were in from out of town and wanted some breakfast burritos so we looked on Google maps and found this place nearby. Wow, we really enjoyed these burritos. We had ordered several, chorizo and beans, egg and sausage, egg and chorizo. All of them are really great. Will definitely stop by again. Thank you all for the great food and service.

Every time I go to this restaurant I am welcomed in the friendliest way! It is always busy and you are served quickly! NOW the food! I love it! Everything I have had is amazing I get breakfast burritos and posole every time! Also, the tamales are so good. I don’t live in Abilene anymore so it is a must when we visit and I bring it home! All the prices are fair.

The food was amazing and the service was excellent! The building is run down but that is quickly forgotten when you’re greeted as soon as you walk in and especially after the first bite of food. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

This is a hidden gem. We asked the lady at Kent Harley Davidson if she knew of a great place to eat? This was definitely it! Great food, great people and will go back next time we are in Abilene.

When my dad was in the hospital in Abilene we found this place. It was one of the best finds. The breakfast was Amazing. Try the Huevos rancheros. Delicious.

Love it. It's a great place to eat at love the people that work there me and my wife eat there Saturday mornings

Food was excellent! Service was on point! Waitress kept my glass full of tea and checked on us every time she went by. This place is off the main strip and is a nice place to dine out of the main stream. Real Mexican food Not out of a can like some places. Pricing is a little high for my taste but will be back again for sure.

The best Mexican food in Abilene. The restaurant itself is a little shaky, but don't let the looks deter you from eating there. Family owned and operated, friendly staff and great food at a very affordable price.

We have been coming to this place for years. It's a great family restaurant. It is one of the best in town with real Mexican flavor.

Everytime we are in Abilene or passing through Abilene, a must stop for breakfast or lunch. Awesome food. Don't forget to grab a dozen homemade tamales to take with you.

I'd never been there. I was told about it. Went one evening and was totally surprised. The hole in the wall. I found it.

I have no photos to share because food was too good to take the time lol. First time here and we ordered 4 burritos and a drink/coffee. I was happy with the price! I was even more impressed with the coffee. My sister got the sugar and creamer added to her coffee by one of the workers and they did an amazing job!!!! Better price and taste than Starbucks lol. Sister said they deserve a standing ovation for that coffee (she's addicted to coffee) lol.
