El Gran Sabor

While on vacation, we stopped to have lunch and we weren’t disappointed in our choice. The food was absolutely delicious at a great price and our server was wonderful. Poor man was the only server so he had his hands full. We didn’t mind the wait because we were in no hurry. Besides, I was enjoying the salsa music. Brought me back to my Puerto Rican roots.

We love this place. It is tucked away in an old house. The food was delicious and plentiful. The local beer was fantastic and it was wonderful to find authentic ethnic food. Our server did a great job and we felt covid safe because the tables were space well.

The Cachapa (pork and beef) were great, the rice and beans were great (mixed) and the service was friendly. We had a little wait but it was lunchtime and worth it. I was hungry and started eating before I remembered to take a picture. Will be back to try other dishes.

Amazing Venezuelan place that really comes to life at night! I've seen some great music there Friday and Wednesday nights. The food is spectacular and you have to try the spicy shrimp soup! Everyone was extremely nice and welcoming.

Visiting family and they insisted we visit this restaurant! I had a beef "stew" but it was more soupy (not thick like I'm used to stew being) but very tasty and the meet was so tender and tasty (wish there was more!)

Also had a roast pork, pineapple and cheese quesadilla, it was SO GOOD! Just a bit greasy due to the sauce and melted cheese. Didn't think to ask for sour cream with it-would be a good offering.

Margarita was also quite good.
Would go again if in town again!

What great food! And excellent service if just a wee bit slow because there was only one server for the whole front outside dining area. Highly recommend this restaurant. Prices are very reasonable and the food is creative and tasty, as well as attractively presented.

This restaurant is located inside what use to be a house and it works. Food was exceptional. You have to try the plantains. We had 2 meals, 2 apps, 2 drinks for under $40. The cachapas was delicious

Have eaten here half a dozen times over the years and it is just fantastic. Never had a bad item and have tried something different every time. The food is authentic. Not the easiest place to find even though it is right off the main drag. Located in an old house in a cool neighborhood. Outdoor dining is pet friendly. This is a hidden gem of a place.

Stumbled across this little gem while googling restaurants near me in Elkins. Oh my gosh, gooooo!!! U wont be disappointed. Yuca with cheese n homemade sauces, stuffed chile relieno, cubed pork crispy tacos & sweet n sour thai chicken cachapa!!!

El Gran Sabor is an absolute gem! The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for any occasion. Each dish is a masterpiece, balancing flavors to perfection. Service is impeccable, making you feel like part of their family. A must-visit spot for food lovers!

Absolutely the best restaurant in Elkins. It was recommended by a volunteer at the Appalachian Forest Museum. Great prices and amazing plantains!

I love this restaurant. No matter if you are dining in or getting take out the food is 10 out of 10. The cachapas are my go to meal there and their house salad and dressing are excellent. The atmosphere is very unique and certain days of the week they have live music. You must try their ramp cachapas during the ramp festival they are to die for. I constantly think about them. They even have block parties. This place is amazing I recommend you to see for yourself. 😁

Edit: I wanted to add, they take a while to get food out. Seemed understaffed. That's not that big of a deal because a) the food is great and b) this place is in Elkins, i.e the middle of nowhere. But just thought people should be aware.

We were visiting Elkins on vacation, and discovered this gem of a surprise! Did not expect to see a Venezuelan restaurant in this region, but it was a nice discovery. Food was good, prices were affordable, and one really nice bonus was that they have live music every Wednesday, which is when we visited. Nice time.

We arrived as a large party on a very busy evening and had an absolutely wonderful evening..great food!.

Wonderful and weird place in a house off the main drag. Such great and different food ...I had the sweet corn pancakes things folded with pork. Squash soup and place is so inexpensive...$12 for dinner can't beat it ...

I would go back again tonight if I wasn't so full. I had the chimichanga and I can this was the very best chimi I've ever had! The rice was so delicious! Very uniquely flavored. Service was great ! Good beer selection too. Love the local Big Timber selection.

Excellent food and atmosphere. We loved everything we tried. Make sure you order the Grand Tostone, it is super delicious.
