OK, please read the whole review to gain a full understanding.

I live in Atlanta, but I have stuff shipped to this store due to certain restrictions on shipping to GA. I have had stuff shipped here twice before. I called them to let them know when I would be able to pick my packages up, and they would hold them for me. And the employees were EXCELLENT! I used to work in restaurants when I was a kid, so I know what it's like to be on the other end. The staff here were very polite and pleasant and knew what they were doing.

Then came this last time. I had some Christmas presents shipped. I called last week, Sunday, December 10.2023, to confirm that 2 of the 3 were there, and the woman who answered was a mess. I told her what I was calling about verifying and holding my packages, and she thought I wanted to ship something. I repeated myself, and she thought I was referring to one of UPS's shipping hubs, and that I should call them. I repeated myself again. This time she understood. She looked for my packages, and said they weren't there. So I said "are you sure? check by looking for my last name.", and then she was able to find them. I asked her to hold them, as the other one had not yet arrived.

When the third came, I called to verify, and everything was good, "I'll come get them this Sunday."

Then came today, the 17th. This is a Sunday. I had arranged my appointments and family activities to allow me to drive the 90 miles there. Traffic was bad, so I was running late, so I called as I was driving to let them know I was cutting it close, but I was on my way.

Kayla answered. She did an amazing job. She said she only saw one package for me. She looked , and then asked me for the tracking numbers to try searching for them that way. No luck. Then she asked if she could call the employee from December 10th to see where the packages were, and could she call me back once she knew. OK, cool.

She called back after 10 minutes. The other employee had not set them aside, and the supervisor HAD SENT THEM BACK !!!

I had completely arranged the one day off I have to go there, had changed family activities to go there, and now CHRISTMAS PRESENTS had been returned, even though I had done what me and all the other similar clients had done, which was call, verify, and plan with the other staff.

So now, I have to wait until the vendors receive the returns, and then pay for them to be shipped AGAIN, this time Express, which will cost more money, and somehow get out there before the 24th.

All of this because someone wasn 't paying attention.

Now, I don't know what the previous person was going through. Maybe it was her off day and she came in for someone sick. Maybe she was coming down with a case of the flu when I called. Maybe it was her first day because she is Christmas help. And I don't like it when people are ready to criticize without knowing all the information. So, I am frustrated at the situation, I'm not mad at the employee. The second employee, Kayla, went above-and-beyond to figure this out. She was always polite ( Once again Kayla, I apologize that I raised my voice and used some colorful language), and my previous experiences have been great.

UPDATE : So, after the New Year traffic slowed, I went in to get my stuff, and they had a line out the door. The staff was making it move, i mean really quickly, and then someone came to me to ask what they could do. They were sweet as summer sunshine, and really helpful, and got my stuff. And then what was missing, they asked if they could forward it to where I would be (I travel a lot). I was helpless. And then when I was closing out the conversation, I found out they were the same individual who started me on this "journey". Ah, life...I thought they were wonderful, helpful, and I reversed my estimation of this place. SO, this was fun, educational, and interesting. An error happened, and they corrected it, and had follow-up suggestions. It's what I look for. Good job, Anniston UPS. Thanks.

The associates at this store are fantastic - friendly, helpful. UPS service is phenominal. In most cases I can choose the least expensive shipping option and my packages arrive at their destination the next day.

Very friendly service, and fast. They had enough workers, so the wait wasn't long. I have been in this store, and the line would be all the way to the door, but not today. I was surprised to see that many workers. Hopefully, it will stay this way. I always allow extra time when dropping off packages, because normally, it's a long wait. But, hopefully no more.

I just wanted to say thank you you guys rocked my last minute job! I called last night after midnight and the computer wouldn't let me select the same day as a due date and told me it wouldn't be due until Sunday morning. I left you all a voicemail and an email letting you know that it was important for me to try to get my color prints first thing that same morning for an event happening later the same day. When I called at 9:15 right after y'all opened and asked for you guys to expedite my print order you told me it was already done! And I could pick it up. I was of course very happy, so thank you for jumping through the hoops.

This UPS store 3330 is immaculate!! I came in complete clueless on how to complete the procedure. The associate Bethany Tucker went above and beyond to assist me. She was smiling and cheerful with excellent work ethic as well. She completed my transaction for me, simply to educate me. Above five stars if you ask me, and Ms. Bethany needs the recognition for her outstanding service. Thank you so much ✨!!

I love this place! I’m usually only in for drop offs (returns from Amazon - ha!) but they are always friendly and smiling. Yesterday I used them for a notary for a travel document and they were so fast and again very friendly. I have shipped things with them in the past and they go above and beyond to make sure your packages arrive safely and intact. Really a wonderful place for all of your UPS, notary, and other needs! And I give them bonus points for being fast and efficient!

I love our local UPS Store. They are always helpful whether I'm shipping, sending a fax or just printing something from an email! Always smiling and very knowledgeable. And don't forget each of them can notarize anything you need for $5. And you can beat having all this in one location.

I was in a hurry and came to this store at 3 in the morning. Lucky for me the lights happened to be on and the UPS staff working diligently to satisfy the needs of lengthy line. Thanks to the sales associate Frederick, the line moved swiftly, just in time for me to get my USPS package insured for $1000 and notarized to North Korea before the 3:30am driver came to pick up the packages. Thank you staff at the FedEx Store located in Anniston, Alabama. I salute you for your service to the loyal customers which call this franchise not only home, but the birthplace of democracy and America.
