Super 8 by Wyndham Elkins

My experience here was awesome! The staff was very nice. We came to breakfast 20 mins late and the lady was just starting to clean up. She let us get breakfast. They had good SOS for breakfast. Got to take the rest home with us!! When we come back to Elkins we will definitely be staying again real soon!!!

Check in and check out staff with the best. I wish all Wyndham properties had people of this quality that they have at this location. Breakfast service was better than most super eight no issue I have is the loyalty program doesn’t work.

I stayed in the most lovely, clean, and comfortable room in the middle of basically nowhere, West Virginia!

The room was very nice, clean, and not loud. The bathroom was super clean, and the room smelled brand new. Very clean windows and a nice TV. Bed was not the softest in the world but it worked. Definitely not a 5 star hotel but it gets 5 stars from me because of how great the room was, the staff were amazing, and the place was very clean. This place is also super affordable. We paid 69$ for 1 night on a holiday weekend over the summer.

Great place, convenient, cheap, good breakfast. Will stay again.

This location staff is definitely A1 with reasonable prices and complimentary breakfast with sausage gravy to die for! The housekeeping staff has positive energy and are very professional. I have stayed here 3 times this month being a truck driver. Anytime I go to WV this location will be my go to hotel.

Absolutely loved our overnight stay at this Super 8. We didn't have a reservation but was quickly accommodated to a king bed room for only $82.00. The room was huge and very clean. Our bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great. We really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy and plenty of coffee. Didn't get the gentleman's name that assisted us but in the receipt his initials was BD. Very nice and professional. We will most definitely stay again if in the area. We had just left Cass Scenic Railroad was visiting Hovatter's Zoo the next morning. Staying at Super 8 added to an overall perfect weekend.

My friend and I went to Elkins WV to visit his son and his wife and we had reservations to stay at the Super 8 in Elkins WV and had a room just off the lobby and the room had a walk in shower and when his son and his wife came over, we went into the dining area to play the board games we had brought and spend time together and we stayed there for the 3 days we were there. The next morning the hotel has a hot breakfast for the guests with hot waffles and cereal and biscuits with sausage gravy. There was the best hot coffee that I have ever had. There was also bagels and fresh fruit. I am not much of a big breakfast person, but I looked forward to breakfast while we were there. The beds were comfortable and I slept very well. There was a couple of picnic tables behind the hotel and the weather was a bit warmer than normal this time of year, but to me it was nice. The staff was very friendly to us and if we are back, we would consider staying there again.

Exactly what you would expect. Nothing fancy, but a nice, clean room to crash on the drive. The window in the room even opens to let in that great mountain air. Large refrigerator with freezer for food storage.
Incredibly helpful and polite staff willing to go the extra mile. The front desk staff were especially wonderful.
Only downside was the lack of an elevator (2 story hotel). If your suitcase is heavy, ask for the first floor.

Pleasantly surprised. Room was very clean and roomy. Bathroom was clean as well. My room was just outside the office and I expected a lot of noise, but it was fine. No issues at all.

Actually nice. Beds was pretty good. Would have liked 2 queens but got 2 twins so make sure if you are bigger people like us and you want to sleep together yo check about room. But room was comfortable and had a nice free breakfast that lasted us all day. Would go again and probably will.

Inexpensive clean rooms. Helpful personable staff and manager. Working folks stay here.

Breakfast included; good coffee and juices, fresh fruit, yogurt, make yourself waffles, biscuits and sausage gravy, packet oat meal, cold cereals, bread for toasting, butter, jelly. You won't start your day hungry here.

Renovations are underway, unobtrusively, bathrooms it seems. Management is investing back into motel - a good sign.

This is my second stay here, four days the first time. Two days this time. I will continue to come back.

We were four people and booked two-bed room. The room was spacious enough for people to walk around and neat. There was a TV on a desk and below it was a mini fridge and a microwave Owen.The bathroom was clean and everything was working fine.

Wasn't expecting much for a cheap motel but it's a lot nicer than a few other I have stayed in and paid more. That waffle maker was the bomb. Biscuits and gravy was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again

Wonderful helpful staff, had booked an online room that was having difficulties upon calling the woman who helped me was extremely patient and very friendly. The staff at hotel was Also wonderful ..felt like I was staying at aunties house! Room was beautiful and comfortable..Elkins is a must stay for more the one night..there is so much to do in that area!! Dolly Sods!! Yippeeeee

It was a great experience. Very stressful trip in. The gentleman at the front desk was an utter professional and just an all-around really good person. Understood the family situation and was really helpful. Wonderful staff

Good place for the price you pay. Rooms are clean and staff members are friendly and respectful.

Hotel staff was excellent. Since my work crew had booked the majority of the rooms in use they graciously agreed to serve breakfast early because we had to leave before 6am when it is normally served. Very happy with their service

Super friendly & helpful front desk staff. Very accommodating . King room was super clean, bed was comfortable, water pressure was awesome . Looks to have been updated and touches were spot on.

Great place over all! It was so clean and very organized! Everyone on staff was friendly! I would definitely stay here again! The room was so beautiful!
