Walked in with my girlfriend to find like 5 people in a conversation completely ignoring us and not even welcoming us into the store, it truly felt like we walked in on like 5 friends who cannot acknowledge any other existence. Felt more like a little club than a fun book store cafe.

Edit: changed to 5 stars because owner was promptly on top of this and made steps to make me feel heard!!!

Always able to find something interesting for me to give as a gift or keep for myself. Susie, the owner has built and kept a reputation for great customer service as well as stocking what anyone would want.

Amazing place where you can get culture and entertainment getting into the store options , all books are there. Staff is so friendly and they know well about suggestions in case you are looking for a nice read. I totally recommend this book store.

An excellently curated book shop, selection is small, but every title excellent for it's type. Large kids and young adult sections. Coffee. Friendly staff.

I love visiting here!! Today I came specifically for an event and they had made a beautiful cake that they let everyone share. They’re super responsive to emails and questions, and are very friendly & willing to help you. Drinks are great, too!

Such a cute little location with very friendly staff. There are some many good things to list about this place. The store is well organized, the drinks make browsing even more enjoyable, the author readings are interactive, and the employee suggestions on the shelves add a welcomed personal touch.

The Book Cellar is a lovely, cozy local book café. Whether you want to find a new read to get lost in, delight in their delicious pastries and warm beverages, or work quietly, you’ll find something to enjoy. The bathroom is wheelchair accessible, though wheelchair users will find aisles narrow and at times trying, they aren’t impossible for a small chair. The owners should look out for anything blocking aisles, as that was an issue.

It’s sunny, people are friendly, and you’re free to browse without being bothered which I sincerely appreciate. It’s a hands-off-but-help-available atmosphere which is ideal for the person who likes being around people but still needs their space. I would absolutely return and recommend it to others.

The Book Cellar is simply the best! Having an independent book store in the neighborhood is a such a delight. On many occasions, I pop in with no plan on what to purchase - and I end up following their staff recommendations. They never disappoint! What's more - they host so many events throughout the year - there is something for everybody here!

Great independent book store with wonderful staff.

Had a pleasant experience doing a storytelling show there. The bookstore is intimate, quaint and has a good local feel . The cafe is nice and staff were friendly

They have all the books in the world it seems here! The man at the counter was very nice/helpful. He just ask you turn yr volume down on yr phone and ask you politely not to take pictures. Just out of respect, but that's okay because this book store is so worth visiting. Super cool place!✌🏻

Neighborhood gem - great selection of books, greeting cards and tchotchkes. Staff is helpful when it comes to suggestions/recommendations. The cafe has a nice selection of coffee drinks, teas, and beer/wine too.

A great bookstore with every title you may want. Or just browse for hours, they don't mind at all. For those who grew up with music and books on computers and phones, go there and experience what a real bookstore feels like...a bit of heaven. Then you just might head over to Reckless Records and discover VINYL!!

This book store has helped reignite my love of reading! This is such a fantastic little store with a great selection and relaxing atmosphere, and the cafe is a nice plus. Basically it's the perfect small business I love to support. I often go and just browse until I find something that intrigues me enough to impulse buy. The staff are great and I love the hand written cards they leave near books they recommend personally. I've selected a few books based off their written cards. Highly recommend. Support local businesses!

Beautiful place. I love bookstores and this one was very special. It was the first time I'd been there. Came out with 2 books! I will go back again! 10/10 recommend.
