Maywood Park District

I happened upon this place through a very good Friend of mine and her Son.We attend Church there in the Gymnasium. The People inside are just as Beautiful and well kept as the outside. I never knew that or what this building is used for or what exactly goes on in the other areas of this building.But I believe it's a Treat and a Maywood, IL Treasure 🪙f sorts and Support!🤗☺😊 It's also very clean and well kept!!

I love the updates, that have been done to the outside in recent years. I've come here often, this past year. My toddler and family have come for various family events. She always has a great time, which is what matters. I must commend mayor Brooks for all the family events that he and the park district put together. It really helped during covid.

The new add-on facility was amazing! The original building definitely has an old school park district vibe, but it pulls you back to good times playing games and making crafts after school.

Maywood Park District has come a long way, thanks to it's new management and directors, it is taking on a real feel of community. Tonight they had a concert in the park. Awesome old school R&B and Blues music. MPD is also a great venue to use for many events, such as weddings, receptions, repass, birthday party, etc.

Fun family friendly event today. Good times, a definite positive for the community.

The Maywood Park District, under this newest board and executive director Toni Dorris, is more efficient and vibrant than it has been in decades! I am so happy for all the people in Maywood and the surrounding towns that they now have access to programs and events and partnerships unlike ever before and I wish them continued success as they move forward and grow. I hope residents will participate, volunteer and enjoy the hard work finally invested in their park district.

Went for my second covid-19 vaccine shot. Place was very clean, and people friendly.
