Salerno's Pizza & Pasta of Oak Park

The best pizza I've ever had. Minestrone soup 🍲 is freaking fantastic. The restaurant is nice and cozy and the service is amazing.
Just found my new favorite pizza spot.

Wow! Massive bowls of pasta, delicious pizza. You really can't go wrong. FYI, Monday is half priced pizza day, BUT the pizza is discounted, while the toppings are full priced. Wasn't a huge deal but would have been nice to know previous to ordering, rather than the price shock of the bill. Definitely will return.

Food is always good and our server was awesome. Never a disappointment. They need a kids menu. My son like the Alfredo but a regular one is too big for him. Please consider kids meals smaller portions.

Food is always good at this place. No matter what I've had, it's always great. Love the bread right as we sit down with the oil and the cheese 😋😋 yum!! We has margaritas and man they packed a punch that night!! Lol I hadn't seen that bar tender but I so appreciate her! Then the main dish.... so freaking good. My go to is the gnocchi with vodka sauce and chicken. I usually ask for the full order which is the big bowl because then I can take the other half for lunch the next day. 🥰 it comes with soup or salad (served while they prepare the main dish) I love the salad with a raspberry vinaigrette, so good. We didn't get dessert this time but now that I'm typing this I wish I had some of their tiramisu 🤤🤤 the cannolis are really good to and don't even get me started on their gelato.... I'm making myself hungry all over again. If you don't know, find out!!

First time visit to this cozy Italian bistro with my sons and grandsons on a random Saturday afternoon drive down Roosevelt Road. Greeted and seated like extended family. Exemplary service from the experienced waitstaff. Crusty bread hot out of the oven. Soup like Grandma used to make. Great pizza.

First time here based on a local recommendation. Started with the bread dipped in olive oil and parmesan, great! The Chicken rice soup was good as well. I had the Gnocchi in Vodka sauce, which I absolutely loved. Heads up the serving sizes are massive. I can get a good 3 serving from my meal.

Needed a place last minute to have lunch after our father passed. They were extra accommodating. Way more people showed than we were expecting. We had to get more tables set up, order more food. Our father didn't have money. We barely made the funeral expenses, this lunch, with what we thought would be about 20 ending up over 50 people was way out of our budget after paying for the funeral. Salernos had no idea of any of this. The kindness they showed and helping us get the most for our money. They went above and beyond . The food was fabulous. Everyone was so nice we just wanted to thank them. Sometimes you don't know how kind your being when someone really needs it. We needed it today and they delivered. Thank you salernos we will always recommend you!!

Anything you decide to eat will be delicious. Dine at a table, munch at the fully stocked bar or enjoy eating outdoors on the patio. Private parties are doable. The atmosphere is always improving & the staff is, all around, great.

This place feels like HOME. The staff are friendly, the food is good, the drinks are powerful, and the prices are fair. If you want to go someplace where everyone knows you and it’s like a family….Salernos is the place. Love them all.

Can get expensive but worth the price and they offer coupons too. I've only seen the stuffed artichoke at this location I could make a meal out of that alone. Definitely worth the trip to dine in too.

We had a small family gathering in their banquet facility didn't know they had one it was nice great music great food very comfortable and cozy the food and service was excellent we will definitely use them again for our next small gathering if you're having something for about 40 to 60 people can't beat this place for the price and food you get I highly recommended Salernos.

Everyone was so nice and very accommodating. Food was delish...I recommend and will be going back to try the rest of the menus. We had pizza, cheese sticks, fried calamari, mushrooms, chicken fingers. We order to take home fettuccine alfredo and the chicken and rice soup. Everything was very good. 👍

I loved their thin crust pizza special- the crust is just right and not too heavy. Location is great with plenty of parking. The staff is friendly as well as the service.

We have always enjoyed our visits to Salernos. The food is always delicious and the service is always great. We have dined both inside and outside.

This place is so classic, the service was impeccable and the chicken parmesan was last meal worthy. I also ordered a pizza that I would rank in the high 8's. Salernos is a must go if you are in the area.

Got a small pepperoni & garlic pizza. Delicious. And larger than I was expecting. I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

Ordered online for pickup, very quick and easy. Pizza was great!

I ordered a chicken Cesar salad. All the components were fresh and the dressing was tasty. Service was good. No complaints.

Has Salerno's for the first time recently and it's solid pizza. Nice outdoor seating as well.
