Super 8 by Wyndham Rochelle

This is a very clean hotel, no frills but a great place to stay. Reasonably priced at $75 a night during the holiday season.

Chose Rochelle while attending NIU functions. Only 20 minutes away, same as going to Sycamore but more affordable including staying in DeKalb. Numerous choices available. This had best value. Clean place, safe area. Quick to highway of choice

Got a reservation quick for the same night as we got into town. Slept so good. Breakfast was good, plentiful and delicious.

STAY HERE!!!!! BEAUTIFUL, SUPER CLEAN, GREAT PRICE....FRESH SMELLS. Budget price, friendly, comfy beds!!!!!

Just put a no slip in the tubs. I have to put a towel down, because it is very slippery. My mom at 95 almost fell.
No rubber mats, they carry germs!

Stayed here for 2 nights. My husband is a truck driver, they have 6 truck/trailer parking spots, so it was nice to get out of the truck. Our stay was quiet and the hotel is nice. The only thing I wish was better would be the shower pressure. There are plenty of options for food nearby and walmart is close too.

Rooms were perfectly clean, check in was the fastest I have ever been checked in and that is normally the pain point of any hotel stay. I got it for $70 off hotels dot c0m which seems to be an overpay based on Google prices, but whatever.
Room is a bit small where the desk chair can't roll out due to the bed.

Breakfast is neither the best nor worst I have seen at a super 8, mini waffles and microwave oatmeal was the extent of the hot food.

Apple/Orange juice, prepackaged muffins and Danishes, apples, dry cereal and Great value brand Yogurt is the extent of the choices.
Works well enough for me.

I travel often and stay in dozens of hotels, especially with handicap accessible rooms. This property is nicely located, very well maintained, is quite affordable, and most of all for me their accessible room had exactly what I look for. Specifically:
Close location to the front desk.
Door is easy to open.
Walk/roll-in shower has a very large and sturdy folding bench.
The shower head can be adjusted full 180° and by height and is within reach while sitting on the bench.
Shower is large enough, especially with the bench folded up, for someone using a wheelchair including a caretaker assisting them
Door to the shower is large and opens the best way possible.

Other property managers should use this as an example when designing or rebuiding an accessible room.
I will be calling Wyndham corporate to let them know just how pleased I was to stay here.
I use the 5 star scale as 3 is adequate, 4 is exceeding expectations, and 5 is only for the most exceptional experience. Many places see 4 or lower as a failure so I don't review when that is the case. This place was exceptional.
PS. If you want to get a military or veteran discount without carrying a DD-214, make the reservation by phone and talk to the call center to set that up one time for future use instead of rating a one with that being your only reason.

Believe it or not, this Super 8 is actually really nice. The rooms I've been in have been upgraded and are nicer than what you'd expect to get for $80-$100 per night.

We just needed a hotel to sleep without unnecessary frills like a fridge, microwave, etc. It was super clean and the beds/pillows were very comfortable. If you want a clean place to just sleep and shower, I highly recommend staying at this Super 8. They did have a get and go type breakfast, but we didn't get up in time!

Very reasonable rates here, I will stay here again . I hope I can get a first floor room!

A very nice motel! The front desk person was very friendly and knowledgable of the area. Our room was clean and stayed cool. Breakfast was good. There wad a bit of noise from the street but not enough to cause elevated volume during normal conversation. We will definitely return.

Our stay was very enjoyable from the minute we walked into the lobby and talked with the desk clerk. He was most helpful getting my necessary medical equipment into our room, which, by the way, was perfectly located for us. The room was very comfortable, including the bed and bedding and the shower - yes! plenty of HOT water! I was not motivated early enough to enjoy your breakfast but my husband said it was fine. We would highly recommend your facility.

Clean clean clean! Well maintained rooms,fresh,clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and owners were friendly. A definite stay again location. I travel a lot for work and this was a pleasant surprise. Thank you for the comfort and updated rooms. Pillows were comfortable as well as the beds.

The staff here are simply the best so a big thank you to all for making me feel at home. The hotel is well kept and very clean, the beds are comfy, pillows are perfect and again the staff is A1. Can't go wrong here

First time staying here and had a very good experience at this budget hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable and the AC unit worked great. The frig in the room was also bigger than most hotels. We were pleasantly surprised at the breakfast too as it had more options than we expected. The front desk staff did a great job of keeping the coffee and food stocked and wiping down tables. This place is also close to DeKalb. We will stay here again when in the area.

Started staying here instead of the gross Mendota Super 8. Professional staff who actually welcomed me, and nice clean rooms. My new goto for work.

Stayed for 1 night at a very affordable rate. Front desk staff was AMAZING! VERY friendly people, couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We were road weary and in need of a pit stop. Super 8 had just what we needed. It is a quiet location. The check in process was smooth and quick. They have three queen bed rooms which we got. The beds were super comfy, I wish we could have had a room like that our whole vacation! Mike checked us in, nice guy. I recommend Super 8 in Rochelle IL 100%

This hotel has just what I want. A clean quiet place to stay that is not very fancy and is a good value. We stayed on a Saturday night and had no problems with rowdiness or noisy guests. The rooms were very clean although furnishings were a little worn. Perfect for me!
