Steak 'n Shake

The service was excellent. The restaurant was spotless. The manager was very professional and friendly. The cook/cashier was friendly and professional as well. My food was just as I ordered it. My burger was picture perfect and delicious. Thank you all for your services because service these days suck! Thank you.

Steak 'N Stake has dramatically changed their atmosphere in the wake of COVID. Ordering from a kiosk, not having waiters and waitresses, scanning a QR code to get a drink, etc, takes away from the atmosphere that steak 'n shake used to have. But excluding my desire for nostalgia and that classic diner feel, the food and service were both great.

. We had a party of nine. Two people ordered 7X7s which means a lot of cooking for the grill cook. All nine people enjoyed what they ordered. The waitresses were friendly and efficient. The manager came to check on us and make sure everything was as expected. We were very well taken care of by the entire staff!

Went drive thru and cashier was very pleasant. The food was great but burgers could be little bigger,still better and cheaper than mcdonalds and burger king

Nice, clean restaurant. Staff is always friendly. Food is consistently tasty and good.

The burgers were prepared deliciously.
I love shoestring fries and my kids liked their shakes.

Yesterday was my first time at a Steak N Shake, and it couldn’t have been a more pleasant experience experience. Food was great, shake was thick as a brick and by golly did it kick, but the crown jewel of the experience not the food. It was the nice gentleman who took our order and serviced us at the Take Home window, I didn’t get his name but he left a lasting impression. I hope we’re in the area again so we can swing by and reconnect.

This place was clean, The staff was professional, nice, friendly, & the food was Delicious 😋***** We shall return😊 I had steak Burger, small fry, and a vanilla shake.

I visited with my family on 7-9-23 and had the pleasure of interacting with the manager Lucy. She was amazing in every sense of the word. Our food was delicious and accurate. Would definitely visit again because of Lucy!

They were super nice when I got there almost to closing (a hour before) but that does not mean you should also show up close to closing. The order was fresh, the person that took my order was super friendly. Easily the best fast food place in Bourbonnais.

We came today after not coming due to poor service and not so good food a couple years ago. I must say it is under new management and it was amazing the burger was fresh and very tasty. Lucy the manager was so great I complimented her on a great job. Facility was clean I will definitely come back again.

A very good Steak n Shake. We had everything we ordered and it was cooked well. There could have been a little more cheese on the cheese fries, but otherwise, it was good.

Food was excellent and the place was very clean. Darian was super helpful and very professional. She had the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Definitely going back just to be served by her again!

Darian was a very pleasant person. Food was fast and delicious, shakes were wonderful and jus a great all around service! Glad we chose this place for dinner on our way home!

Great food good price. I had the pleasure of encountering quite a few friendly employees with fast service. Image my surprise when one of those friendly employees happen to be the Joker, well known villain. I was served quickly and of course with a smile. Wonderful experience.

In Bourbonnais that steak ‘n Shake could offer 100% fabulous. Thank you so much for allowing us to have this amazing dinner tonight by far the best in a long time.

As always steak n shake is a bit slower compared to other fastfood chains. As always the wait time becomes a 2nd thought afyer the first bite. Always amazing food and the simplest hotdog but the tastiest.

We thought they were open 24-7 we pulled up at 11:58 to order. They kindly took our order after paying and getting our food host made us aware we got there just in time since they closed at 12. They had amazing customer service.
