Alfano's Pizza Restaurant

We felt like Italian, so we found this little gem nestled in Carthage's town square, so we thought we'd try it out. Historic brick bldg, comfortable vibes, everyone was so friendly and smiley. We ordered an XL Canadian Bacon, Bacon Pizza, Garlic Cheesy Bread, and a side salad. We wanted to take some home as well, which we had plenty of leftovers for later. We were there around 1pm, lunch rush maybe. Plenty of seating. Outdoor seating available too.

The food was delivered in a timely manner. Hot, fresh, delicious! The husband loved the Sweet Tea too. Even when groups started piling in, we were never left alone to long by our server/waitress. The restrooms were clean and fully stocked! Cute photo op corners. It was my first time at a Alfano's within our area. Not sure if all of them are privately owned or not. Wonderful Italian restaurant on the historic Carthage square. I've been there several times over the years and they have never disappointed. Always kind staff and quick service to boot. I had their very delicious Italian sub. In the past I have enjoyed their thin delicious crust Pizza. They get a thumbs up for me.

Update. In addition I just enjoy their taco pizza. Lots of fresh toppings, crisp lettuce, and crunchy chips. Overall this is an excellent taco pizza!

Very good food. Fair price. It comes out quickly and everything we tried was great.

A few friends and i lunch here. We drive from quincy and every so often we bring along new friends to enjoy the food as much as i have over the years. This time we brought 2 ladies that had never been before and they both enjoyed the food as well.

The food here is fantastic. I was not impressed with the waitress. Could not get her attention to get drink refills or anything else we needed. Our food was served before we could even get 3 bites of salad down as she was behind on getting the salads out. As soon as the food was delivered, she hardly even checked on us. We were a party of 6 which at the time was the biggest group there. I tried for 15 minutes to get a refill on my tea and she was too busy talking to people at another table for, what seemed to me, an extended period of time. Don't get me wrong, the food was delicious and I would definitely recommend this place for fine Italian food.

Best pizza around! Waitresses are pleasant. Atmosphere is nice. A very nice place to enjoy a meal.

A hidden gem on the square in Carthage, IL. Authentic Italian/Sicilian dishes in beautifully-decorated spaces. Super friendly staff, quick service and delicious entree's. Kudos to the staff and owners.

Great family spot! Try the garlic cheese knots!! Sauce was amazing on everything! Great service from Tia and everyone there. Get off the interstate and try it!!

The food was great! And the large sandwiches are LARGE! The server was friendly and personable, and food was all delicious. Definitely a great pick if you're looking for good eats in Carthage.

Pizza was perfect. Thin crust, delicious sauce and yummy toppings on both halves.

Ordered for the first time tonight got 1 alfanos specialty pizza 1 large philly cheese 1 kids meal chicken strip with fries and 2 cannolis. The food was fresh and very delicious with definitely be ordering again. Friendly staff too!

My friend and I went here for lunch before doing Christmas shopping. The waitstaff were all very friendly. The food was very good. I got the focaccia. I wasn't sure how I felt about lettuce on basically a calzone, but this was very nice! I would totally get it again.

Best pizza ever

FANTASTIC service from Jade and great food! Came in with a group of 12 adults and 3 kids- Everything we ordered came out quickly, hot and delicious! Jade was super attentive and quick with all of our requests. If I lived closer this would definitely be a regular dinner spot for me!

This is the best Italian place in Macomb!! Okay, so it's a 20-30 minute drive but definitely worth it. Great quality Italian with excellent selection.

Our first time there was a great experience,
The waitress was friendly, the wait time was minimal, the taste of the pizza was the best I've ever had, excellent pizza, and the price was right. Would i recommend Alfano's to my friend's?? Yes i will. We will be making that trip again and very soon. A big thank you to Alfano's and their team!

Lasagna is his favorite, mine was Spaghetti but new forever favorite is Spinach Ravioli.
Wish we could have had Tarimessu. Theirs is excellent. Service top notch, famous food, pleasant atmosphere. We enjoy going here
