El Señor De Los Tacos

First time here. We really loved our food! Tacos and a steak burrito. Feesh pico with chips. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely not a fancy place, but clean and welcoming. Pico was fresh and delicious.. bought 16oz to bring home! We will be back.

I was finishing work and decided I wanted Mexican food before I had a meeting in Rochelle. I did a quick Google maps search and saw what appeared to be a small family business.

Parking was easy and the location was easy to find. I sat down and after a recommendation from the waitress, I placed my order for a burrito with sides of rice and beans.

I like it when I find a place where the flavor of the food isn't generic, but rather clearly their own recipes. El Senor is just such a place.

The food was at the table in under 5 minutes, perfect temperature and fresh and was clearly prepared for me after I ordered.

They had Spanish language music playing and the owner asked me if I preferred something else. I thought that was considerate but was happy to listen to what was playing.

It's not a fancy place, but who wants fancy at a Mexican restaurant? It was exactly what I hoped when I searched for Mexican restaurants in Rochelle.

I'll be back.

I ordered a Menudo it was really good the Best customer service it wasnt that expensive paid less than $20

the salsa didn’t came out a bottle it was actually made from scratch i loved it chips were made freshed
The presentation of the plate was just organized freshed cut onions , jalapeños , cilantro & lime i just loved it …if i come back to illinoise i will definitively stop here again.
Thats when you know the food is going to be good.

Usually I order pick up but we decided to dine in. The food is awesome and their salsas with the chips is amazingly fresh and homemade and the service was great. I highly recommend this place.

Best restaurant I've been to in years! Polite and friendly staff, delicious food, and very affordable. The salsa bar is pretty nice as well! Definitely worth the drive.

First off, let me start by saying that my husband and I are truck drivers and passing threw Rochelle, IL at dinner time and the owner allowed us to park our tractor/trailer right in his parking lot, no problems whatsoever...he was very welcoming!!!!

The food by far the BEST AUTHENTIC Mexican Food my husband and I have ever had (and we've eaten A LOT over the years) but this was seriously the BEST!!

My husband ordered the Steak Fajitas & I ordered myself the Baby Burrito, both came with beans and rice. The portions were huge and the service was fast. The rice was absolutely delicious, the meat in both of our meals was tender and pouring out flavorful juices!!

If you are looking for some good food at a good price, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!!

Good, authentic Mexican food.

My stepson asked if the tacos were good...I had to give him this honest warming "They are good but they are nothing like Taco Bell tacos, they are like tacos you get in Mexico".

He looked so disappointed. He didn't complain about his choice to get three tacos, he actually liked them.

Great first time experience here. Both had green chicken enchiladas. Amazing flavor and great chicken. Not crazy spicy so enjoyable with light kick. Loved the horchata and variety of jarritos also available. Would recommend and the owners are good people.

The care they put into service shows in the quality of the food. Probably my favorite reason to go to Rochelle for food.

Stopped here bc it was the only open place we could find at 10pm. It was astounding. My simple chorizo taco was so incredibly flavorful and the enchiladas with red sauce were so spicy and full of flavor. I’m sad I’m not from here!

Hubby and I were in town for one night, and after a night of karaoke we wanted a late night bite. They were not only the only place open at 2 am, but the food was made fast and fresh and it was AMAZING!! I had chicken tacos and my hubby had steak and we were blown away by the quality! There green sauce was absolutely to die for!! If we lived in town this would be a regular spot! Definitely a must for anyone and everyone!!!

The fastest service ever. Food was out in what seemed like 2 minutes. Also very clean environment & the Sombrero hat lamps were so cute!

This is a must go to place!!! Amazing atmosphere, amazing food, amazing staff and great prices!!! My 4yr old is so picky with food but she loved this place and kept asking for more! I had there 2 steak taco plate with rice and beans and my husband had the king size steak burrito! 😋 go check it out! You won't regret it!

As a visitor from Chicago, this place is an absolute gem! Small, cozy, and 100% authentic place. The bad reviews this place has are mostly filled with ignorance. Barbacoa is actually pulled pork in English, queso is literally cheese unless you specifically say what kind of cheese. Other than that, 100% recommend this place!!

Stopped to grab supper on the way home 04/07/22. I had the Cubano and my wife got the special #2 (taco and tostada). The Cubano was excellent. It would have been better with a spicier chorizo, but I'd get it again without hesitation. No complaints from my wife about the taco or tostada.
