Holiday Inn Express & Suites East Peoria - Riverfront, an IHG Hotel

Really enjoyed my stay here. The place is newish and the rooms are clean. The breakfast is surprisingly good with 4 different hot items rotating throughout the week. The staff is friendly and they have a decent selection of foods and drinks at the front desk. Plenty of parking around the hotel and there’s the start of a walking trail right next to the building. It’s a bit of a walk to food spots, but I would highly recommend checking out Social Taco. The gym has free weights up to 50 lbs and an adjustable bench. There are also some cardio machines, but I was disappointed there wasn’t a cable machine or a bar for pull-ups. Also, the water machine in the gym doesn’t give you cold water. Overall it’s a great place to stay.

I've stayed here multiple times and it's my favorite hotel in the area. Samuel at the front desk is incredibly kind and helpful! The beds are comfy without being too soft. It's never too busy so noise isn't an issue. Great water pressure, good free breakfast. The a/c unit is noisy but I prefer that for white noise. The only bummer is that check out is at 11, a bit early for me.

Nice rooms and friendly helpful staff. The gentleman who checked us in was really great! I love how the location feels separated from the city but is actually very close to everything. We were 2 minutes away from the restaurants and shopping in East Peoria, and 3 minutes from the highway. Once the little bridge is done, we’d only be 2 minutes away from downtown Peoria. They have a hot breakfast in the lobby and a pool that is open late.

This Holiday Inn Express is great. Ashley took great care of us. The rooms & bathrooms were clean, neat and well appointed. My wife and I both loved the mattress. Just the right amount of softness, yet firm. Probably the best Holiday Inn Express we have stayed in.

Great Hotel with a good ambience and cleanliness! Breakfast was good, especially since it had bacon! Nice room with a good workspace for doing business.

I have always enjoyed this hotel. It's clean. The staff is friendly. It will always be my go-to for my stays in Peoria.

This was one of THE finest rooms I have been in a while. Rooms were very clean,bed was comfortable and Ashley at the front desk was nice and attentive. Only downside was at breakfast when I told one of the workers someone had spilled their hot chocolate on a table and seat before I arrived,they just handed me a rag. I cleaned it up but still kinda rude. Otherwise the stay was wonderful. Would recommend to all my family and friends if they were to be in Peoria.

This Holiday inn Express & suites is a place you want to stay it's clean it's fresh and quiet.The staff is amazing. The breakfast like mom's cooking. An added bonus Cabela's is right next door.

This was the best Holiday Inn Express experience we have had in a while. Every employee we interacted with was helpful and professional. The property is newer and very well kept. The pool is smaller but actually kept warm! The pool area was clean. Our room was very nice. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had a great view of the bridge and skyline too. Definitely recommend!

After spending a night in a downtown Peoria location the week before, I was definitely looking for a change. Check in was a breeze. Everyone was very friendly and they reviewed the location of hotel amenities and services. My room was spacious and well appointed with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Electrical outlets were conveniently located on the desk area and the desk chair was comfortable. Room, bed and bathroom were clean. Their snack and beverage area was well stocked,, though the refrigerator could have been colder.. The complimentary hot breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. The swimming pool was refreshing, but kind of small.
The location was also much improved. Located next to a Bass Pro Shop on a dead end street gave easy access, abundance of parking and a sense of security. There is a very nice walkway along the river with a small park with playground equipment along the way. There were multiple restaurant choices nearby as well. For my next trip to Peoria, I will definitely stay here again.

Good experience, nice stay. The room was clean which we were grateful for. The bed was comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was typical and fine, but their pancake machine was broken.

One minor ding: the light switch at the front door turned off a few outlets where our chargers and electronics were plugged in. Really confusing until we deciphered the combination of wall switches, outlets, and lamp switches.

Wish there was a restaurant in walking distance, but that's all right.

We paid more for a better hotel and we were NOT disappointed.

Such a fun and friendly place! It was truly a pleasure, I felt like a Queen for the weekend! Very, very clean, snacks and ice cream available 24/7, and my favorite thing was the adorable, tiny Dove bars of soap they provide in the room, made my week! I'd highly recommend a stay there.

Was a nice place to stay. Everything was clean and tidy. The girls at the desk were very pleasant. Would stay there again.

Great experience with the hotel and loved the stay there. Staff was always super friendly and happy to help. The breakfast food was amazing. They had a machine that made pancakes which is a lot faster than the regular waffle maker and dispenses the mix for you so no overfilling. Over all amazing view and amazing stay at the hotel. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! It has a beautiful view, the staff was super friendly and helpful and the room was amazing! For the price we paid it was the best. It was clean, roomy and the bed/ pillows were very comfortable. It was also a little modern but still cozy. The bathroom was big, as was the shower! After 20 hours being on the road having a large clean shower is the absolute best! The surprise was the towels were not those scratchy, rough towels! They were nice and soft!! I would 100% go back to this hotel or other like it!

The staff was kind, welcoming, and courteous. My Room was spotless. Very impressed many hotel rooms I've stayed in have a hotel odor… this place was Pristine. I had to stay at a few hotels on my trip recently. They could not serve a regular breakfast because of the Chinese flu. But they made a huge effort to make a sac breakfast I found it was great.

Probably the best medium priced hotel we've ever stayed at. Only stayed one night but everything was clean and comfortable. Great coffee, great beds, clean rooms and pool, nothing negative to say. Workers are doing a great job at this hotel. Not one to do reviews but I felt this one deserved a thumbs up.
