Lorena’s Mexican Restaurant

My dearest friend and I would go get margaritas and food here once and sometimes twice a month. Although, she's recently passed away I still keep up our tradition of going to Lorenas. The margaritas are really strong and good. The price is affordable and the portions are plenty for leftovers the next day. The staff is super quick at preparing orders and kind.

There is always a quick service time from kitchen to table. Many of the staff are long time employees. The food is served hot and the ingredients are fresh. The venue is consistently clean. Custom orders are no problem. The lunch specials are a particularly good value. Lorena's is one of my regular haunts.

The special of the day was good food served so quickly that I was caught by surprise! The “burrito especial” was good and pretty close to traditional too. The service was efficient although not much for conversation. I definitely plan to visit again when I’m nearby.

Lorena’s was a lotta fun!

Lorena’s was an early stop for my friends and I. We managed to get a giant group of people together for a night of laughs, chips and salsa, full bellies and memories.

We descended upon Lorena’s at the beginning of the dinner rush and we didn’t leave until nearly close. We took over a large table for the 6+ of us that were there. It was a fun group consisting of Danielle, Jeremy, Tim, Rod, Brian, and a few others.

This is one of those places where I don’t remember much about the eating experience as the camaraderie was the thing I remember most. I know we went through a ton of chips and salsa, a ton of cheese, and tons of drinks. The one thing I do remember was how good the food was and how it wanted me to try other Mexican restaurants. I guess I can blame Lorena’s for getting me hooked on giant burritos, chips and salsa, and feeling stuffed.

I miss days like this when adulthood hadn’t fully kicked in yet but we had enough money and time to go out and enjoy life. Cherish it while you can.

This little gem is very happy place. The waiter was just a funny person and had our whole table laughing. Great atmosphere, good service and excellent food. Not too busy at the time we went, but at 8pm there were still lots of patrons coming in to eat and grabbing orders to go!

I got 3 tacos, a chicken, a pork, and a steak with onion and cilantro and it was all really food. The chicken and pork were definitely the stars of the show. Good queso.

Had the two Taco beef hard shell lunch with beans and rice. Awesome tasting beef and very ground up. Delicious. Also, had to wait on my wife to complete her conference and they allowed me to hang out and have three Jalisco beers while watching sports. All the staff were professional, friendly, and helped each other. Great people, great food, great atmosphere, at a great price. Recommended by a friend from Embassy Suites.

What a gem but holy moly there's a young guy with curly hair that was literally on his phone while he took our order, then had to come back and clarify because he couldn't remember what we ordered. Had to wait for refills and the check so long it was frustrating, especially because all the other servers are super attentive and the food is absolutely delicious. Will always return, just might ask for a different section if we have the misfortune to land in his again.

My wife loves the Memo's special(it's chicken with rice). Can't go wrong with chips salsa and cheese

Great grilled chicken Soft tacos. Good people! Fast service, great price and chips, salsa and queso is great! Don’t forget the Margarita!

Very good! Lots of options, food was fresh and flavorful. The chips and salsa were delicious and wildly addictive.

One of my favorite places in town! The staff here are so cool, always very friendly. The food is incredible! I'm always impressed that I can get a huge plate of piping hot homemade food; it always makes me feel good to eat here.

They always have good food. I got the grilled chicken tacos, Ala Carter w/ no cheese. They came loaded with chicken, lettuce, and tomatoes ( as usual). Fresh and delicious, I also love there salsa
