Divorce is a very hard time for anyone, but Rita made the process smooth, easy, & not as painful. She made sure to go over the paperwork thoroughly with me making me comfortable with everything that it said so that I clearly understood all of the legal jargon. She told me everything to the letter to expect at the filing and it went quicker than I expected. What can I say my first experience with a guardian ad litem but I can tell you this much I don't make $350 an hour and charge just to read over a few documents a lawyer is already charging to draft just another example of how lawyers are are parasites profiting off the destruction of families with a smile on your face and a pleasant voice on the phone as they ask for payment

The first issue I had with them was with the billing department. I was told there was a payment plan, which was the whole reason I went with them. I got my first invoice saying $800 was due in 7 days, after only one court appearance. I asked about a payment plan and as told someone would call me. 3 weeks later I get a phone call from Kathy, who is supposedly Mr. Wakenight’s fiancé. She basically said I was never told there was a payment plan and that I was lying. I forwarded over the emails, and then was told the payment plan would be honored. She said it would take a couple days for them to get back to me. They didn’t get back to me for another couple weeks telling me I owed more money. When I asked about the payment plan I was told I had to apply for a loan for the payment plan. I am young and can’t get a $20000 loan. After that I got a call saying they weren’t going to withdraw yet, but it was coming. When I talked about the payment plan she said Kathy would work with me. After that I couldn’t get in contact with my attorney for a week, and got an email with the motion to withdraw. On top of all of that my attorney wasn’t very helpful. I had Tara Vranas. The only thing she helped with was moving the case to the correct county. She was telling me to give into things I didn’t feel comfortable with giving into. I have a new attorney, and right away he told me I wasn’t being unreasonable and had the evidence to support what I wanted.

BEWARE: This is a very incompetent firm. After my original attorney from this firm retired with no notice, I was shuffled around between two other attorneys who were very uncommitted to my case. I paid a lot of money for a simple divorce case that was dragged on for months longer than predicted. The attorneys have no motivation to work in a timely manner and will not follow up with you without pressuring them to. My final attorney (who was brand new to the firm) withdrew right before I had court after I was persistent on them having knowledge on my case after having handled it for 6 months. I hope no one else has to suffer with these clowns. Wish I could give less than a one star review.

This firm destroyed generational wealth by promoting and prolonging conflict. Remember when you are tempted to pursue a scorched earth policy against the other party, it’s the next generation that gets burned.
