South of the Border

Took the wife out for dinner last night, had the Burrito and enchilada combo. DELICIOUS!!!
I see several reviews mentioning that this is not authentic mexican food, and that may be true, but I don't think it is trying to be!
It is its own thing, and I don't think you can honestly duplicate it anywhere!!
I would 100% recommend eating here. Good stuff :) :)

Great food first time going here with a buddy. I like their daily specials. It's a good deal for the amount of food you get! Will certainly be back.

I love this place! I've been going here for 25 plus years and I've never had a bad experience. The food is always delicious and the service is always friendly.

The food is amazing here. I love the Wednesday special, I get it enchilada style, extra cheese, and extra onions. They are super nice. If you eat there, they make sure you enjoy your meal. It's a good thing I don't live closer, lol.

Had the Saturday special and chili cheese dip. We left full and happy. Staff really friendly.

Since I was last in there, it is under new management. I could tell something changed when I walked in. The atmosphere is wonderful. Very nice decore and real tables and soothing lighting. It's very cozy and classy for a small place. The person who took care of my sister and I was very pleasant. The original owners, back in the 70's had authentic Mexican food, but it was more a takeout place. The food is as good as it gets now with the new owners, and the nicest I've ever seen it. Great job. They will definitely succeed!!

The food here is incredible. The portions are generous and prices are reasonable. The guys that run the place are really nice. We've been here before and would definitely come back again.

1st time getting take out from here and it was good. Lots of positive and negative reviews but this place did not disappoint. We ordered beef, chicken and pork tacos. Chicken was the best but pork was also great too. Not the biggest fan of the beef but it wasn't terrible. Loved the hot sauce and guacamole too. Everything went well with a few Cerveza's! The staff was extremely warming and kind. Lookong forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu. 🌮🌮🌮

Great place for some style foods, they will make anything happen for you. The Employees are Genuine Friendly Ppl, their customer service is outstanding, I love the food and above it, their vibe. You feel welcomed from the first time you walk in and it extends to every time if you become a regular, dont mater if you are there for a drink, a cookie or a meal. I highly recommend you come and try out their dishes.

The food was delicious. Just like I remembered it. I didnt realize this place was still open. Will be back again soon. Big hit in the family. The big taco is hard to eat it's so full. Maybe next time two small ones.

Favorite local "mexican" spot in town. Been getting take out from here since i was a kid. It's a staple in our family for three generations now.

Also the chili is amazing.

I love this place! We've been going here since I was a kid, as it was also one of my mother's favorite restaurants. The burrito, enchilada, and taco meal are always our go to orders. Im on my way to pick some up now :-)
