Nice park with close proximity to the highway. There's a trail throughout that does 3 small loops so it's easy to walk the distance you want. It's mostly paved with small packed gravel sections. The pond in the south loop has a small veiwing area. The middle loop has a nice little playground, plenty of parking, and bathrooms.

Very nice park and always stop here along my way to take my pups out on their super pretty nature walk. There is a picnic area as well as a grill for charcoal. The bathroom is nice and typically maintained very well. All in all I would recommend this park to anyone considering the trip!

We had a great time on the nice playground again, playing tag, swinging and pretending, but this time we explored the trails--we had so much fun! Some are paved and some are gravel with little Bridges over wetlands- we even saw a crab in the stream. We listened and watched for the birds, found a pond, and piles of rocks and trees in the woods. A great Spring day outside.

Nice little park with a 1.4 mile loop trail (more like 3 mini loops) through the forrest. Mostly paved, but even the gravel sections are well maintained. There is a pond with a small boardwalk viewpoint along the middle loop. Park, covered picnic area, restrooms, and plenty of parking.

This park is centrally located for easy access. I enjoy the hiking trails that are easily navigated.
The restrooms are convenient as well as picnic areas, pavilion, outdoor grills, large green space and the play playground with many activities.
Bysterveld Park is also dog friendly, for those pets who would like to enjoy getting out for a walk with you.

Easy to get to, nice trails with varied terrain, clean rest room. Pavilion with lots of picnic tables, ample parking. Play area acts as a magnet for the younger set.
Dogs welcome on leashes and if you clean up after them. Probably good for cross country skiing in Winter.

Great park. Been a long time since I've been here and a lot has changed over the years.

Stopped by early in the morning and walked the trails. Hoped to see more fall colors but everything here was still pretty green. Other than one other person I had the trails to myself. Enjoyed snapping photos along my trek if the trails and nearby scenery.

Rock pile near one of the fields brought back memories of years past growing up on the farm and throwing rocks that popped to the surface while turning soil over onto similar rock piles.

Very enjoyable time at the park walking the trails. Great playground and facilities. B will definitely return on the future.

Great park for being out in the country. The paths offer great scenery and wildlife views. The bathroom was clean when I visited. Dog friendly (need to be leashed). We walked our 4 dogs after the tornado washing and still had a great time lol.

Very beautiful and peaceful. Walking trails were cleared of debris with a few puddles to navigate. I was able to see numerous different species of birds. The pond was very relaxing to look at and listen to nature. There is a great modern playground for children to burn off some energy. The park overall was clean and I would recommend giving it a try.

Me and the family checked this out to take a hike and we really enjoyed it .it very well marked and it has intervals of boardwalk, pavement, and gravel foot paths. It's 1.2 miles if you do all 3 loops. Its a beautiful walk in nature and you can walk off some pounds you put on from eating to much at Thanksgiving dinner lol.
