Great coffee, awesome service and atmosphere!

My husband and I stopped by today for the first time and had hazelnut lattes (recommended by the staff). They were so good, we each had two! And the gentleman took the time to explain the art around the shop to us when we asked; very intriguing!

Overall a great experience and we'll definitely be back.

This place has such a cool atmosphere, lots of dairy free options for your coffee (my fav is oat milk). I had a donut and quesadilla as well as a flavored latte. It all tasted amazing, and the service is fast and really kind ☺ I will definitely be back!

If I could give it 6 stars, I would. I went to see a friend Drum on an open mic day and I had the best Mocha of my life. This place is definitely getting my business and recommendations from here on out!

In a world of starbucks and mcdonalds, The Dovetail reigns supreme. Big business shutters at the thought of Mike’s prowess, a god amongst men, and his chai milkshake. Dont just come to The Dovetail, come to Mikes domain of great vibes and weird lines.

The owner was working and is a really friendly guy with a sense of humor. Made me feel very welcome! Loved the drinks I got too. This is a Macomb county gem 💎!

The atmosphere is great, I can imagine this being a popular hang out spot. Food is great and well priced, and service is very quick for handmade everything!
I loved the Quesadilla and the chai milkshake, would highly recommend!

My first visit here was to watch my son's band, Sunset Drive, perform. Great coffee, food, and service! It was busy but the owner kept up nicely with the orders. I'll be back!

This place has been on my "to go" list for almost 2 years now. So glad I finally got a chance to stop in. It is HUGE. Came in for a study date with a friend and we had absolutory no trouble finding a suitable space for the both of us. The owner is WONDERFUL. He was incredibly patient, kind, welcoming, and so warm. Coffee hit the spot and the food was delicious. One more note: the temperature is perfect inside. Not freezing cold like other coffee places, not overly warm either.

There is also a small stage located in the main area of the shop. Coupled with the open layout of the venue, this place is perfect for casual hang outs, studying, small intimate gatherings, or just sitting in some very comfortable armchairs and looking at some of the beautiful murals on the wall.

We’re always looking for an independent coffee shop and we just hit on a good one if you’re in this area. We got to meet the owner, Mike. Ask about his band band and love for songwriting. It’s worth it to stop in and check out the murals. Good ☕ ‼

Been coming here for years. Mike is a wonferful host. Great atmosphere & tasty coffee.

Such a great place for young adults to sing and share their love of music.

Has amazing coffee with sugar free options (vanilla, carmel, hazelnut, and chocolate)and for the other keto people they have butter. There are days where I crave there coffee. I think of every way how I can get some.

(10/28) Had a lady make our coffee and it was not very good. Next time we go and she is there we will just leave. Don't want my taste buds to yell at me or waste my money. The gentleman are better at making coffee.

So far Mike and Rob make the best coffee. Everyone else is watered down. If I see anyone else I just leave.

Today, I stumble across a great cafe in my new neighborhood . Mike was friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to go back. Oh, and my coffee was amazing

Went to Dovetail to enjoy a young person open mic night, what a fantastic time! The Dovetail is obviously very invested in their community and host other interesting groups (for instance, there's a drawing gathering monthly). It's cozy, has comfortable seating that lends itself to either a table top meal or game, or a coffee-and-chat session between a few friends. I highly recommend popping in.

What can I say? It's a homey, non-chain coffee shop in Warren. I had no idea it existed. It is clean, has a pleasant atmosphere, good coffee, the guy who served me was super nice, and it's surprisingly busy for a Wednesday afternoon. I'm impressed, I'll be back.

I've only had the pleasure of visiting a few times when I was in town, but the Dovetail has earned the kudos of being my favorite Coffeehouse of all time. It's run by the owner, Mike, who is the best kind of zany and has a great sense of humor. And he has an amazing memory! It's a uniquely eccentric hangout spot and has plenty of room for board gaming. I loved the milkshake and "Cartel". I can't tell you how many locals I have referred to this place because I feel so passionately that anyone within a 30 mile radius should check it out. From what I've seen, Mike treats every customer like his bud, and it makes me feel personally valued and welcome. Thank you for a wonderful experience every time!
