Do not drive past this place without stopping!!! Pulled pork is amazing, full of flavor. BBQ sauce is some of the best I have ever had! Grilled cheese and fries were excellent! If your not hungry, drink some booze and drink the BBQ sauce even, you wont regret it! Nice and clean establishment. Remember, cash only, ATM inside.

Small roadside find that was absolutely fantastic!!! Great variety to choose from and all four of us loved what we chose! Owners were nice and very knowledgeable of the area! We will be back next year when we pass through.

Dinner was awesome. Burgers, chicken strip sandwich and Phil's pulled pork with his special sauce with added cole slaw was all great tasting. Couple owned, very pleasant. Great pricing and clean.

Great food and atmosphere! It's the cutest and friendliest little mom and pop diner with the MOST amazing bbq smoked pulled pork. I also can't say enough good things about the cheesecake. I highly recommend.

Love this place! They have delicious food and everything was an awesome price. I felt so at home. The owners are super nice, hardworking people and are there to make sure you have a good experience like i did. I met and chatted with some really friendly locals who were there too. Overall, i loved it!

Absolutely the best burgers in town! Always friendly service and very knowledgeable bartenders are happy to help you find yooper sights to see.
Update: It's no longer Stump's Tavern. I'm happy to report that while the previous owners no longer run the place, their food and service are still second to none. Still the best burgers in town!

Had dinner here while on vacation at the recommendation of the family who owns the motel we were staying at. Wonderful food! The barbecue pork was to die for and the cheesecake we took back to eat later was equally delicious!

This cozy little roadside stop brings the essence of the the North inside and truly warms your soul. Their smoked bbq pulled pork is exquisite and the sauce is possibly a top 10 bbq sauce in the world and it needs to be sold throughout the lands, far and wide. Thank you Snowshoe/Stumps tavern for providing us with such a delightful experience.

Great food and wonderful new owners. Cindy and Paul welcome you with friendly smiles and conversation. If you are passing through MI UP we would highly recommend stopping in. Many home made specialties and even wisconsin supper club cocktails.

Stayed at Three Lakes Motel and the snowshoe is next door. Ate dinner there one night and it is excellent!!! BBQ chicken is out of this world. Also they had homemade cheesecake, OMG!!! Plain, blueberry and chocolate chip, all were the bomb😊

Fantastic cheesecake!!! A very nice place. Good food, prices good and owners made us feel so welcome and talked a lot with us. It is a planned stop everytime we are in the UP. 😃

Recommend the wet burrito, the stacker (BLT with ham), and the pulled pork (made fresh).

Stump's is now the Snowshoe Inn. Some changes to the menu but they still have the wet burrito and some of the other old items.

Delightful, friendly owners! The food and drinks were delicious and plentiful! I also learned the meaning of FISHTAB, so very educational :D

Working on trying everything on their menu , Cuban is very tasty , has a very good cudaghi , wet burrito is good. Will report back when I try more of the menu.

Great BBQ owners are awesome and deff a upgrade and valuable asset to the community for snowmobiling and UTVs alike .....!
