Beaufort Lake State Forest Campground

Beautiful camp ground... well maintained with lovely views... will say that on a motorcycle it's rough to get to as thr gravel road was very wash board and beat me and my Harley bad

We just loved spending the night here. Super lovely area and exceptionally clean and quiet. Not many sites (7) I believe but nice grassy level area, right on the lake.

Gorgeous! Would definitely like to stay again and bring kayaks.

Sites are a little narrow but very nice grassy areas. Clean bathrooms, water pump works well. Right on the lake. Very pretty.

Other than the sites being a little close to each other, it is a very nice camping area.

Incredible location on lake. Outhouses but no showers. Very quiet. Dark yellow drinking water.

It was...meh. Vault toilet door locks you in if you aren't careful. Fine for an overnight on your way to somewhere else but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to purposely go here. It was super flooded and we got the only site with minimal standing water. We'd have been miserable had there been anyone else there since there's zero privacy between sites. $15 and you have to pack your trash out. Spotty Verizon service.
