Sunshine Diner

I had to chuckle, never have I been to a restaurant that played rap love songs! Genuine! You could tell the kitchen staff enjoy their time bc they were singing and laughing. My waitress was super nice, checked up on me frequently. Place was super clean! Open from 7a-2p, lunch and breakfast served the whole time! Ordered the western omlete w raisin bread and a cinnamon roll. All very delicious.

When my boyfriend and I moved to Lansing we looked up breakfast places near us. This wasn’t the only one but it was the closest so we came. In love. 3 years later still going atleast once a month. The food is so good, the coffee always hits, the server is amazing (and we always get the same women), the cooks have a great time. It’s just so great here. And it’s consistent!! Every time you go you are going to get the same as last. It’s just such a good place and whenever family or friends come to visit we take them here.

It was our first time and it was awesome the atmosphere was amazing it was clean the food was delicious will definitely be back🤘🏼🤘🏼

The cooks were listening to bedroom music but it actually was entertaining because they were singing along. I didn't hate it but it would've been nice to have a less sexy experience that early in the morning.🙊😄

Delicious! We had the vegetarian and meat lovers "off the griddle" - eggs, hash browns, and cheese, with additional meat or veggies, like a scramble - and Texas toast. The scrambles were fantastic, the toast was just right (not burned!) and I really liked the seasoning of the sausage gravy. We just happened to come across this place while looking for somewhere to have breakfast, and I'm sure we'll return.

I love this place. Great food and service. If you time it right, you can listen to the cook sing classic R&B songs, which is a bonus in my book. Yes it's old looking in here, but that is perfect in my book.

We’ve eaten here almost every weekend for the past 1 to 2 years. It’s always a great vibe, awesome staff, and best bacon, sausage gravy and French toast in Lansing!

This divey looking place ain't much on the outside, but on the inside it's got it where it counts. The menu is short and sweet; just the basics, classic bfast items, hamburgers, and sandwiches, etc. 🥞 🍔 🥪 But everything that is served is perfect! The lady who brought our food over was a seasoned pro too.

I have been going here once a week since it was the brunch house and I absolutely love it! A family friendly place with great staff and even a singing cook.

Aside from waiting for quite a bit for food (that’s inevitable), everything was delish! thank you for the surprise <333

I love love love Sunshine diner. My roommates and I go there regularly. You'll find classic diner food and they have vanilla flavored creamer (which isn't common at diners). My favorite thing about Sunshine is the staff, they are so friendly, funny, and accommodating. Also, the cooks will turn up music and sing when an especially good song is played. The waitress that usually serves my roommates and I knows my order and never gives me a menu because she knows I always get the same thing lol.

The waitstaff is always friendly and smiling. Good food fast! My first stop at least 3 times a week while I am in lansing ! Today I had the turkey sandwhich

Very nice down-to-earth staff. Granddaughter loved that all the condiments and such were on the table. Customers of all different types which made for a chill, welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed our meal.

Loud,great atmosphere but I couldn't even hear any patrons or my husband because of the kitchen staff.

I've never had a bad meal and the service is top 👌 will be back for more.

Great food, cooks vibing to great tunes, great prices love it will be back.
