Markin Glen Park

I actually found this place on accident. I was searching for places to walk or relax, and I didn't see this place listed, but while driving I stumbled on this place.
I have to say that this is beautiful; it's quite, it's peaceful, there's various spots that you can sit away to just think and relax. It's dog friendly; dogs have plenty of space to run around, play and have fun. I love the fact that there is also a park for kids to play, let alone they also have a small Beach like display which to me seems so calming. There is multiple picnic areas, and there's a restroom that's available also. There's also a softball field and a tennis court. As I stated this park simply is set up to have multiple activities for various occasions.
This park is very spacious, I love it! I think I found a new spot!

A gem of a place to visit. Plenty of parking, several pavilions for group gatherings, a swimming lake with a bridge, a large fishing pond and beautiful scenery accessible by paved walkways. Also, a campground, which I did not see. I came for the first time to paint with a group of friends. I was happily surprised at the beauty tucked away here. There is a small entrance fee.

What a beautiful spot!! We stopped here on a cross country tour, and spent the night in the campground. Stunning grounds and very clean facilities. Highly recommended and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Bonus: The Fall Colors were MAGICAL!!!

Pretty campground with nice bike/hiking trails. Campsites are concrete and mostly level.

A lovely county park that is full of things to do. There is a camping area, small beach zone, a couple of play equipment for the kids, multiple spots to fish, and a path that circles the entire park, making a great walking, biking, and hiking excursion.

With easy access to the KRV Trail, you truly could spend all day in this lovely little park and enjoy every second of it.

Very nice and super clean. Concrete parking pads. Beautiful scenery, nice beach, with very nice pavilions for get togethers. Paved bike trails. Clean newer picnic tables at each site. Tennis courts and volleyball court. Very good price!

This is a top tier trail with a great jump line I recommend all my friends check out! It's not to long, not to short. Just a great place to get some laps in.

Staying here in a Class A motorhome for a few days, traveling from out of state. We have found this Park to be very clean, quiet, and organized. The paved walking trails are great for a 5 mile a day hiker such as I. Fishing lake, beach area for swimming, volleyball, tennis courts, horseshoes, picnic shelter houses and single picnic tables throughout. Helpful staff.

A nice small campground and park in Kalamazoo. There is a day use area with beach, trail and picnic tables. There is also a very nice small campground. There is a fee to enter.

Definitely worth going if you're around the Kalamazoo area. Plenty of benches all around the park. Tiny beach ⛱ area. There's some trails over the hilly area. The scenery is amazing.

Clean, beautiful park. Great swimming area, walking paths are very nice and paved. Camp sites are well taken care of. Staff is friendly. Quiet park..no roadies and they like it that way. There is fishing but mostly little blue gills. Saw some bass but small and some bull heads. Bring alot of worms!! Those little fish know how to suck bait off..lol. there were turtles by the bridge eating worms off your hook as well. I suggest the fishing pier. Great place to take young kids to learn. Dog friendly park. 3 shelters fir picnics and several picnic tables around for use. Full hook up sites.

Beautiful little campground. Tucked away through the trees to keep it pretty private. Nice pond and walking path around it. Concrete sites and fairly easy to get into. Overall a very nice campground.

Shhhhhhh!!!! This is best little campground in the kalamazoo area that no one seems to know about!
I had a great weeklong stay for a business trip. The site was easy to back into, hookups were dated but functioned great, and the surrounding were very welcoming. I loved walking the trail in the evenings after all day in class which made for a very relaxing way to end the day.
There is an abundant amount of wildlife to see and experience. Fair warning, where there are some small trees scattered around the majority of the sites will get full sun from 9am to 6pm so be prepared.

Only negative thing….I forgot to bring my fishing poles!!!!
