New runner here, went in for their sale hoping to find something to help in my training. The owner took me straight away and helped me find the perfect shoe! I am so happy with my experience and couldn't be more thrilled with what we found. Thank you!

Kristen was so attentive, helpful, and kind! They have a treadmill and a nice open space where you can try out the shoes. I feel good about getting back into distance running.

Love this store. They have the Hoka brand shoe. I wear them for work. It is like walking on a cloud.I like the old fashioned service you get getting fitted etc.

They are extremely knowledgeable. I needed shoes to help with my flat feet. They watched how I walk and found a pair of shoes that eliminated my ankle pain and made walking way more enjoyable.

Most knowledgeable staff in Grand Rapids. Come here if you want a salesperson who is capable of analyzing your stride... that can tell you if you over or under pronate... And then match you with a shoe that will help balance your step... Bring in your old shoes and they'll analyze the wear pattern and help you make a better selection.

This place is great! The staff ensures you get the right shoes by watching you run and understanding your foot shape. Connor help find the perfect shoes for me and Jeff help my set up the loyalty rewards program and told me about the running club. I bought a pair of Hoka shoes there and so far I love them. Even if I don't, they have a 30 day exchange program. Best part is they have a running club that meets on Saturday mornings at 8am and I'll be attending for the first time next week. Maybe I'll see you there!

Jensen was very helpful with finding me shoes that support me better for my 12 hour shifts on my feet. Bonus that they do 15% off for healthcare workers and have a loyalty program. Will be back very soon!

The staff are very knowledgeable about there shoes and orthotics. Prices are lower than Gazelles Sports. Greeted me right when i came into the store. Nice and very helpful. Will return for shoes and socks.

My new go-to place for shoes and socks. Gabby was VERY helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I had just come from another shoe store and was feeling pretty defeated. I did not get the help or service I was expecting. Gabby more than made up for my inadequate experience. I had heard about Striders from a client at my job, and I'm glad I did! Hands down the best shoe store around. They have a reward program, too! A Striders visit is a worthwhile, personal, exceptional, productice experience with unbeatable service.

I am not a runner. I just needed a good pair of shoes for walking. I hate shopping for shoes because after several surgeries it’s hard to get any type of shoes that feels good. The staff was so kind, knowledgeable, and persistent in finding that perfect pain-free pair. I now have a great fitting pair. So happy with my new shoes! A shout out to Kristen for the great help.

I love a small business filled with knowledgeable people. My shoes always fit like a glove from the moment I put them on. They care for their customers. The added bonus is they added a store puppy to the mix. Nothing says “welcome home” more than a dog. Friendly staff and Pace the pup makes it even friendlier. 🥰

The people here are very friendly and knowledgeable about their footwear. The first pair of shoes my wife bought after a few minutes on our treadmill started to slip a little on one foot, she retied them still had slip. We took them back and there was no problems with the return. Since she had the issue with that pair they had her try a couple of different brands and styles til she had one that worked good for her.
