Great place for cross country skiing! Just gorgeous. Check website to make sure trails are groomed and clubhouse is open. Day use is just $2 and they have gear rental and snacks!

The park has 3 loops, all of which are about 2 miles. Easy/moderate.

Note that in the winter, you enter off Clyde Park. (Google maps might direct you elsewhere.) Follow signs for the golf course.

Best place to cross country ski in the winter (especially when the trails are groomed). Always peaceful and quiet.

In the summer, the trails are great for walking or running. The woods are full of wildlife like raccoons, deer, turkeys, squirrels, and a great variety of birds. The main parking area can have some sketchy figures occasionally, but other than that it’s a nice place to hike.

One of the greatest public parks. We will definitely visit again. I will need to explore more but loved and feel pleasant and positive.

What a beautiful park! There are so many different paths to take, and I love how intimate the skinny paved trails feel. Perfect for fall 🥰 and great for pictures so long as you have willing participants! 😅

I've been here before to meet up with people at the tables, but never to walk around. Let me tell you something, this park is one of the best places to go to for a stroll.

There's a lot of tree coverage, but also open spaces as well. Along with that, the trails are both paved and unpaved. The unpaved areas are well maintained and easy to walk on.

Definitely coming here more often.

Beautiful park with lots of paved and unpaved trails. It has two play areas for kids.
Its perfect for fall photos and gets busy but never feels crowded...

Beautiful wildlife spotted! Entering Palmer Palmer on the left you’ll see the green of a hole on Kauffman Golf Course. What a great afternoon out! Picnic in the park with more deer sightings. More than a park! Nature woods and wildlife galore. Plenty of hiking trails.

Great walking trails, picnic areas, ball field. It has great areas with covered pavilions and picnic tables for not just family reunions, wedding receptions, business parties, and club picnics. I didn't take any pictures. I was too busy having fun. Oh, very dog friendly. Each pavilion has restrooms, his and hers. Lots of wide open spaces. A whole lot of nature and shade.

Rented cross country skis and explored. $10 per person for the day including the rentals. Had a great time! Staff was friendly. Would recommend trying it out if you need a well priced, covid-friendly winter activity.

Clean picnic tables, several playground structures within the park and within walking distance. There's a really nice walk path that goes back along a creek. Nice for roller blades. There were grills and pavilions. Brick and mortar bathrooms.

Great place for a family gathering, plenty of trails to hike on, playgrounds, a golf corse, it has deer, Turkey, owls, frogs & other wildlife. Buck creak runs though the park. Here it is during the spring floods. Handycap people no longer have creak access

An amazing chunk of property. Great natural walking and biking trails. A quiet place to appreciate nature. Plenty of deer around this area too. Buck creek passes through here also. Drive to Buck creek off 52nd is closed in the winter.

Very large park with 2 playgrounds, 2 covered picnic areas, lots of picnic tables through out the park with grills. Has nature trails with lots of wild life. You can always run into deer on trails.

Nice and beautiful walking trails! If you’re lucky, you will also get to see some wildlife. My dog and I came across several deer and birds!

It's a nice park. Great day use and picnic area. There's also a golf course that plays around the park on one end. Not sure about the golf course with a clubhouse or parking is at. You'll have to Google it.

Had a great walk with our 2 special needs dogs, they loved sniffing the trees, rocks and pathways. Not too busy when you go before the park closes. I'm guessing it was the manager of the park let us know he was locking the gates and gave us plenty of time to load our sweet boys and there wheelchairs into the car.

One of my favorite local parks. Plenty of hiking trails both paved and rustic. Lots of open spaces and a play ground for the kids. Occasionally you can catch a beautiful sky
