Monelli's Italian Grill & Sports Bar

Traveled into town for a concert in Grand Rapids and wanted to grab a bite of food beforehand. So glad we stumbled upon Mlnelli's because the food was immaculate. The Pepperoni Rolls were noteworthy and the Stromboli were STUFFED with plenty of every ingredient we added. Needless to say, if we would have left hungry that was our own faults. Restaurant side had a really home-y and authentic Italian atmosphere and and the hospitality from beginning to end was superb. I can't wait to eat our leftovers!

I ordered Avocado Strawberry Salad and Tiramisu for dessert. My friend and I shared sweet potato fries topped with bacon.

This place is great. Around this area as far as the food goes its top notch. The food is always hot and fresh. The service is excellent and consistent. I highly recommend the chicken parm sub. It is by far my favorite item. The pizza is also excellent, I myself am a purist and love my plain cheese pie and it’s right up there its very good ! Definitely worth stopping in or take out too !

Came in on a Friday night, packed to the gills but worth the wait! Our server was super nice and gave suggestions - our food came back perfect, great portion sizes and flavors. We will come back next time we're in the area.

Almost gave a 1 star because I had to put up with them showing State vs Cornhusker football game. But then I realized 3 things: First, I didn’t come to watch football. B.) There were plenty of other games to watch if I did. Lastly, it’s never to early to start stealing signs for next years rival game.

Anyways this is a food establishment and people want to know about the food and service. I am here to report back to you that both were good and the facility, including the men’s bathroom (and if the men’s is clean I assume the ladies is in even better shape) is in peak condition.

We arrived just before the kitchen closed, but our waitress was transparent and very attentive. The food was good, the service was excellent, and overall it made for a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place. Great job having a staff that is engaged and cares!

I loved this place! Our waiter Justin wad great! He kept our drinks filled and was very nice & outgoing. The food was really good! My panino was perfectly cooked! And my friend loved the Buffalo Chicken Rolls I think it was. My other friend got the Mac n cheese that was decent but did upset her stomach later. But overall I was highly suggest trying the food and giving this place a chance.

My new favorite italian resturant! The hostest and servers were all friendly. The atmosephere is warm and inviting. Great selection of different classic italian entrees, pizza, calzones, sandwiches, and salads. There is something for everyone. We had the cheesy breadsticks, which I couldn't get a picture of because we ate them too fast. They were delicious and came with a big side of their fresh marinara sauce. The avacado strawberry spinach salad was divine. The honey vinegrette, blue cheese crumbles and almonds really make this salad shine. Even my husband loved it and he doesn't like salad. We did a build your own pizza with artichokes, chicken, black olives, and spinach. It was so good! I'm not usually a big fan of pizza, but the crust was perfectly cooked, with a good balance of toppings to cheese and sauce. Everything was excellent and so reasonably priced compared to other italian resturants in the area. I can't wait to come back!

Wings were good, although there were only a few sauce choices. To make up for it, they have an extensive draft list. Server was great even though it was one of their busiest nights in a while.

Watched the Lions win their first playoff game in 32-years, first of my lifetime, here! Was a great experience and the food and service was great too (even as busy as they were)!

I usually take pictures of my food. Didn't happen here. This place served us SUPER fast! Seated right away. Once Seated, our waitress came and took our drink order. Those came quickly! She took our appetizer order. BOOM! Delicious pizza bites. Our dinner showed up at the perfect time and was piping hot out of the oven. This was my first time here, but DEFINITELY won't be my last. The classic Italian sub was delicious and my fiancé really enjoyed her turkey papino. We both had fries too.

Kylie, Ryan, and John were awesome! Here on a business trip and came here two nights. Great service and food was great! We will be back!

We dined here for a second time this past weekend. The first time we went we got pizza and we were pretty underwhelmed. Yesterday we got pasta, the pepperoni pizza pinwheel appetizer and some garlic bread. The app and pastas were AWESOME! Glad we gave this place a second try. Their margaritas are cheap and effective.

After receiving a gift card for Monelli's we decided to check it out. We dropped by to celebrate my husband getting a new job, and we're glad that we did. Everything we ordered came surprisingly quickly, and every bite was delicious. It was a little bit pricey but the portions(2 To Go boxes were necessary), food quality, and atmosphere were well worth it. We will be going back, and I recommend checking them out if you're in the area as well.

We had a classic burger and Steak for dinner. The calamari appetizer was really good as well.
Highly recommended.

Normally I leave pictures, but I forgot tonight, my bad, I still wanted to leave a review because our waitress Cam was amazing, not just pleasant and helpful but a delight! I had steak salad, it's always done the way I like, my hubby had a burger and fries, tasty, and we took a To go for our daughter, classic Italian sub with fries, Cam put it in at the right time so it was nice and hot walked out the door!

Visited October 19, 2018 and had an amazing visit!!! Our server Megann was absolutely wonderful!! We had a steak meal and a pizza, they were both incredible! Streak was done medium and was so juicy! Pizza had that right amount of flavor, it was an all out great visit and we would definitely return!! If I had room to eat more I would have mentioned about my birthday on the 21st to see what would have been done, but maybe next year!

I went in to have a drink with a couple of friends. It was busy but the service was really good. Our bartender was kind and helpful. I ended up ordering bread sticks and they are awesome. Super garlicky with a lot of Parmesan cheese and butter too. Definitely a must-have if you like breadsticks. After having one drink and a thing of breadsticks my bill was 14 bucks which is a steal today. For the amount of food I got it was well worth the value.

Grace is one of the best bartenders I've had in a while! She makes great conversation (and drinks), as well as providing such amazing service; which creates such a fun, welcoming atmosphere!
