Great handicap accessible kayak launch about 1.5hrs down river from Gerald Fors Museum parking lot and 6th bridge.

There is NO kayak launch anymore. [August 2023] May've gotten taken out by falling trees. Although incredibly mucky, it still isn't too bad of a place to put in--certainly still safer (for both person and craft) than to use the boat launch nearby.

I visited here on June 25, 2022 and there was no kayak launch present. The signs and pathway were there and even the mounts on the shore but no launch was connected. I had to go to the traditional boat launch just down the service drive.

The launch is gone and the rocks and muck make it extremely difficult to get in.
