Coopersville & Marne Railway

Quick stop in Coopersville on the way to our destination. Nice town with a unique downtown. Marne Railway and the old trains were a pleasure to stop and see. Well worth the side quest 🙂

What a great time!! We sat in the caboose where the kids got to sit up top. The chairs were SO comfortable and it was nice having the table to sit at. The train rolled at 10 mph so a nice speed to take in the scenery. We took the October themed pumpkin train where the kids had on costumes, apple cider and donuts were on our caboose and two girls dressed as a pumpkin and a crow came in and performed a few songs for us. They were really good and the kids really liked it. The kids also got to pick a pumpkin when they got off the train. Not to mention the fantastic eateries right around the corner, pizza, donuts and an ice cream shop. Nice fall day, we will be back next year!!

Beautiful railroad. We attended the murder mystery ride and really enjoyed it! Lots of laughs and fun story line as we cruised along the tracks from coopersville to marne. Highly recommended!

Very nice attraction. We brought our 2 & 3 year olds to ride the Famous Pumpkin Train & they loved it! They had characters all dressed up in costume singing festive Halloween songs for the kids. They also came through twice and offered drinks & snacks for sale. Plenty to keep the little ones occupied. There are restrooms on board. The staff are exceptionally friendly & all the kids even get a pumpkin at the end of the train ride. They also offer scenic train tours as well as a special Santa Train ride around Christmas time.

Went for the Santa train this past weekend and it was great. Fun experience for the kids. Definitely worth getting the premium package with snacks ☺. The volunteers do an awesome job.

This was such an excellent experience. I was able to ride up front and loved everything about the excursion.

We had a blast on the Halloween train ride!

We had a group of 8 adults on the murder mystery train and it was a riot! So much fun to dress up for the theme and enjoy a night out together. The actors did great, the crackers, cheese, and pop was delicious, and a few even guessed who the murderer was. We had an awesome time and would recommend this to everyone!

I had a lot of fun. it is worth buying the ticket with the snack. entertainment on the train . recommended for family that love trains. lovely and friendly staff.

Entertaining, relaxing and so fun when Santa shows up. A little chilly in the car tho. Fun way to see Santa!!!

Went on their Easter Train, it was a lot of fun and very cool! My son who loves trains was glued to the window and the ride was perfect length to keep him entertained. They had the Easter bunny come and walk along the middle of the train, it was very cool! We will be back!!!

This was one of the coolest train rides. It brought me back in time, put into perspective how important the rail was in building the USA

We had a great time on the Santa train!! Would recommend and are planning on doing again next year!

We went on their Pumpkin Train and had lots of fun on a double date.

We took the Bunny Train to celebrate my GGsons birthday. This was the 3rd time taking kids on their first train ride. They each loved the experience and remember it.
Our 1st trip was with my GGdaughter (she was about 4) on the Santa train. Before going, she always told the Santa's she saw were helpers. When Santa walked into our train car, she grabbed my arm and told he was the real Santa. While waiting for the bathroom Santa invited her to sit with him again and they talked about cookies for 10 min.
2n trip was with GG nephews for the train robbery. The boys loved it and interacted with the characters and partipated.
The bunny train was with my 6-year-old GGson, and we were nt disappoint.
We definitely recommend these rides.

Fun Ride Lumbering Down the Tracks. Fall Color Tour is Beautiful. Murder Mystery Is Awesome. Brings Back Fond Memories From My Youth. My Parents Took Us On Trains Back When Trains Were Running Every Where Before Amtrak. Something Everyone should Experience. Well Worth The Cost!!

Love looking at the old trains. Especially at dusk. Something about the sun cascading on the history of the train is amazing.

First time doing this, I would recommend riding the train, will be back for the "themed" train rides this fall and winter.

Took the pumpkin train cab ride on 10/14/23.....highly recommended!
