Independence Park

Well maintained park with 4v4, 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 soccer fields! There’s bleachers at some of the larger fields and parking along Proctor Rd and Denton Rds. The bathrooms are very clean but close at dusk. The park offers a large covered pavilion with several picnic tables. There’s a nice playground for the kids too! Dogs welcome on leashes. Home to the famous Canton Cup Soccer Tournament! I spend many summer filled days here watching my kids play soccer! 5 ⭐’s ⚽!

Nice soccer fields, wish they would repaint the lines after they mow, but it works out. The bigger fields aren’t level but that hasn’t stopped my daughters team from winning undefeated this season. Their last game is today and I’m routing for them to win the championship.

Great park in Canton with fields for soccer clubs of all ages. This park famously hosts the annual Canton Cup every Memorial Day weekend where soccer teams from around the region come and compete. I come here to play Ultimate Frisbee, too. And there's a play structure for little kids. The pavilion makes it a good place to host events.

Been coming to this park since my kids were 5yrs old. They are 13,12,11 now and always ask to come to Indy bc It's the biggest and has the best fields.

Went for my Grandson's soccer tournament. Parking was a nightmare, but we found a space. The fields were wonderful and concessions pleantiful.

Great venue for school aged soccer games. Getting out of the parking lot can be difficult at peak times or during soccer tournaments. Backing into parking spaces and planning where to park for easy exit are important.

Nice soccer fields, large parking lot, playground for kids was very nice, a few bleachers for spectators who forget to bring chairs, and a very nice/clean bathroom facility. The bathrooms have men's and women's. There was a changing table in the women's bathroom. In addition, there is a drinking fountain and it has a water bottle filling station too.

Huge assortment of fields from 4 v 4s to standard 11.v11 fields. Great for soccer tournaments like the huge annual canton cup.

Very clean and well maintained park. I didnt see any NO DOG sign so i believe you can take your dog there for a walk as well. Many goal posts in the park for soccer. Park is flat you wont find potholes or uneven surface. Big parking space also available.
I went there for EID prayers. Enjoyed my time there. I high recommended everyone to go there.

Large clean playing fields with good grass. Also there are many nets and fields of different sizes. They have got bathrooms and a water fountain too. I don't recommend trying to come on a Saturday evening because lots of the local clubs, teams, and classes come then.

Been to Independence a few times on multiple occasions, thrice for the Canton Cup, and many others while playing Pokemon Go. Canton Cup is a very enjoyable local tournament, and it always gets the whole surrounding area chatting. It's a very clean area, and after re-doing the parking lot it's much prettier.

Immensely popular park for soccer. They have fields for all age levels, a tots play structure and a covered spot with benches for small parties as well as bathrooms.

During peak times, traffic in the area can be heavy, so take caution. The numbering for fields are seemingly haphazard. If unsure, park in the main lot. Other parking areas are on the north and south side of the park.
