We absolutely love this place. Probably the best priced, best atmosphere, best people in the park. They have darts and as of late, pinball. Outdoor patio for dogs that is heated in wintertime. And the bartenders are always the kindest. A must see!

They don't have a kitchen, but do offer free peanuts that you get to throw the shells on the floor like back in the day.

Often on weekends you can find a food truck parked outside.

With hundreds of beers to choose from it is hard not to find something you like.

1st time visit and my wife and I really liked it. Friendly helpful staff and a huge beer selection. Definitely will be added to our bar hangout list.

A long time favorite with beers from around the world. My favorite beer there is from a German brewery founded in 1328. After 695 years you know they have it down to a science.

There is a printed list of in-stock beers, and some people cross them off every time they try a new one. Never actually seen a fully crossed off list, but have heard rumors of one existing, haha !

Plus they usually have peanuts by the basket, and you throw the shells on the ground !

Mask policies are on point here! Bartender told multiple customers to put masks over their noses, and I love it. The atmosphere here is awesome I'm honestly bummed that they seemed less busy then the bar just next door as I would much rather this bar see the traffic. The curios on the walls are fun and the atmosphere here is just fun and divey in the best way. This is definitely a place I can see myself visiting frequently. Also a smaller note the bathroom was clean so that's always a plus!

Great selection of beer in a nice little neighborhood bar. Friendly staff that will welcome you in with a smile and will serve you up your favorite cold drink of choice. Always a great time at the Tap Room whether its your first stop of the day or your last stop of the evening, you can not go wrong!

Love this place. The ambiance and the barkeepers are top notch. Not too often do you get to go to a bar that has been in operation for 100 years. If you have a peanut allergy be aware that peanuts and shells are everywhere. Try the Whisky with a pickle back and the sausage and cheese platter.

This was my first at Ye Olde Tap Room. I had a great tasting whiskey sour here. It was a lively, fun atmosphere and a large crowd had gatheted by 10:30pm. Free bowl of peanuts in the shell was a real treat! We will return.

Great local watering hole. Real darts, super friendly bartenders and an amazing assortment of beer. Massive adornments of tap handles and old beer labels. Always someone there to strike up engaging conversation.

Classic Detroit bar. Was a speakeasy during prohibition and still has that old time bar feel. Has always had an extensive beer and whiskey selection before every other bar offered 100+ beers. Great place to see a band, throw some darts (the real metal ones, none of those plastic tipped garbage) or just catch a drink with friends.

Awesome place. Low lit, free peanuts you throw on ground, fake fireplace that's pretty sweet, couple pinball games, and best of all, tons of world beers. They have la fin du monde, le cheuffe, and other great deep cuts. Outside fenced in patio for y'all smokers. Also have real darts. Great place to meet up with some buddies, but don't expect to pick up single honeys, not that kinda joint. But def go, best dive bar in grosse pointe

We come here EVERY Thanksgiving Night as a mini reunion of friends for over a decade; it's perfect. Wouldn't change a thing.

Great location and a historical location as well! Outlasting prohibition, this bar serves up a delightful and extensive beer menu, highlighted mostly by Michigan brews which is great for us visitors to find in one location.

Love this place! I love coming here after getting tatchos and seeing Nick Link!
