Denny's Resort

Great people, very friendly and always good place for fishing 🎣 👍🏻. Husband and I went and gave us a 4-sleeper house. It was really clean it smelled really good! We said that we will be there at 6 in the morning, guided us where the house was and it was really comfy, nice and warm! Caught bunch of fish! Will definitely recommend this place ❤

We stayed in Cabin 1. It was clean and updated and a great view of the lake. The owner., Pat, took us our on the launch for a full-day. Really reasonable price, and he wasn't afraid to keep switching spots and techniques with us. The mayfly hatch was really bad, but we still caught plenty of fish. He took us all over the lake and actively guided for us. Both walleye and perch. We'll for sure stay at Denny's again, and if we bring our boat up we'll have some good ideas on how to fish the lake. Highly recommend.

Just stayed here a week in a cabin and brought my own boat. Some friends that went with us went out with Pat for guided fishing. I’ll be completely honest, the cabins aren’t much…in fact the first thing I did was check for bed bugs (none were found). They’re old, our AC didn’t work at first, the docks are kinda sketchy, the lodge smells, there’s nowhere to eat nearby…BUT we had a blast and Pat and his family will do everything they can to make your stay worth it! They fixed our AC immediately (and the AC works really good) and even loaned us a few extension cords so we could charge the boat batteries up at night since our dock was 150 feet from the cabin. The fishing was tough at times and wonderful at other times, but that’s fishing. We all caught several over slot walleyes, northern pike and lots of perch. Pat sure knows the lake. He even told us to follow him around in his guide boat so we could learn some areas to fish. We will definitely come back, but I wouldn’t recommend bringing anyone who cringes at staying in less than ideal conditions (like my wife). This is more of a fish “camp” than a resort. With those warnings…I would still recommend a fishing trip to Denny’s!

Denny's is absolutely amazing! They are willing to go above and beyond to help out, ALWAYS!

We arrived late on Thursday evening after 3 hours of trying to get our generator started we ended up calling the resort at midnight. They picked up the phone and and sources a solution. Truly saved us HUGE that night.

They have nice heated facilities for guest to use.

They are amazing! Will for sure be coming back.

All I have to say is these people will help you find the fish summer or winter. Amazing people who really know how to make fisherman happy. Great job 👏

I have only had the grand opportunity to ice fish at Denny's Resort a few times in past couple years. My experience with Pat and his family have been fantastic. They provide well plowed roads to multiple hot spots on the lake, a very nice, heated fish cleaning station, live bait. Clean and very heated private bathrooms, with showers. If it's a fishing trip to Winnie you are looking for,, I recommend Denny's Resort to be top of your list.

Owner are really nice people! Had clean warm restrooms. We'll have to come back in the summer and check it out but this a new go to for ice fishing season!

Family owns a Cabin and the people are great, beautiful area to visit or live.

Amazing people and very knowledgeable! Best place to go for a relaxing stay and some GREAT fishing!! Can't wait to go back, I would highly recommend these guys if you want to have an awesome experience!

We had a great time, and the whole staff at Denny's was great. They even delivered our propane tank after they filled it. Going back again soon!!

Awesome access to ice fishing...ramp down expect to scrape. Owners are super nice and very helpful. Overall excellent experience from a Tennessean and a Bavarian from Germany!

Affordable as all get out, cabins ain't 5 star but their comfy and spacious, harbor is mint, owners are awesome. Don't mind spending my $ here one bit, will be my go to spot on winnie

Sleepers shacks really cozy. Despite cost, out on the ice, you aren't too cold at all. Great place in general.

Using the ice road, did a good job, reasonable rate. Owner(i think) seemed really friendly and helpful!
