Went spear fishing on Winnibigoshish. Lodge slept 8 comfortably full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, fully stocked lodge and great staff! Todd and Karen are fantastic! Private access to the lake and 1 to 2 man houses fully heated! Great time.

Had a great time spear fishing northers this winter. Friendly staff and the much appreciated upgraded heaters in the dark houses worked awesome.
Can't wait for December to make another trip.

We enjoyed our ice fishing trip. It is a very nice place and great hospitality. Owners work hard, plowing roads and putting people on fish in their spear shacks. I enjoy the northern pike spearing and hole hopping for panfish. Lake winnie has a great fishery. We came up for 5 past winters and will be back!

Fishing was good, even though the resort doesn't control whether you have good luck at fishing. The owners are great. They dona great job at leaving you alone to enjoy, but when you need something they get it for you. This is not a resort that caters to your every beacon call. You may get a mosquito bite, you may have to haul your own wood. Big city folks may not like that. But we enjoyed the very clean cabin, and just enjoying the North woods. 2lb crappies are available, but not huge in numbers. A weedy lake that makes going after the big northern tougher than alot of lakes. Great place to go if you have a side by side or four wheeler.
See ya next year!

I love this place! We have had a spot up here for about 3 years. Also my father-in-law has been at this place for 8+ years.

The family that owns it is amazing. They have so much to do! We love spending our weekends/time off up here.

It is so beautiful! We have so many special memories of being at this resort.

Zip line, horses (to feed treats and occasionally ride), craft time, swimming, swing set, ATV trials, hunting, fishing, 4th of July celebrations, lodge, pool table, friendly staff (lovely family), horse shoe pit, bocce ball, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, camp fires and more! Pet friendly. We bring our dog up almost every time. (Make sure to bring a leash)

It is also important to mention how friendly the rest of the trailer owners are- so inviting. It is such a friendly community up here.

If your looking for a resort to park your camper- this is a great resort.
Thank you Karren and Todd for making us feel at home when we come to stay at the resort.

What a great place for a winter spear fishing adventure! The owners are great people and made sure we had everything to make our stay perfect! Our fish houses were clean and nicely equipped. When we arrived the roads were plowed, heat on and ready to go! Great resort.... I will go again next winter!

I stayed 3 nights and our group fished/speared in their shacks for several days. The resort is nice, but I primarily want to comment on the resort "keepers". There was a ton of slush on the ice, but they worked very hard to make the ice accessible when nearly every other area resort was closed. They are friendly, accommodating and incredibly hard working people. Plowing, moving shacks, while still keeping up with customers had to make for really long days, but every interaction included a smiling face.

I've been coming here since I was born. That's over thirty years of fond memories and life moments spent in the area. The resort has certainly evolved over time, but it has always been a place for great fun. The lodges are all beautiful and offer a variety of aesthetics, as well as capacity. The surrounding areas allow for four wheeling in the warm seasons and amazing snowmobiling in the winter. Fishing is great all year round. If you're looking for a secluded getaway from the cities, this is the place to be.

"Of all the paths you take in life, make sure one of them is dirt" - A little peace of heaven down the long dirt road. Great fishing, ATV trails, horses, playground, craft activities, beach area. Best 4th of July festivities! Owners are amazing and work hard everyday. Definitely great place for kids to be kids. Our 2nd home & 2nd family.

Awesome. Nice and modern cabins. Great fishing (we were part of a group doing December spear fishing). The owner (Karen Christensen) - can't say enough good things about her. She went out her way to make our stay comfortable. We had a great time! Thanks Christensen family!

Can’t say enough about Karen and Todd. The cabin was just perfect and the fishing was excellent. Karen fixed us almost the best fish dinner you could ever ask for.(I joked with her how it’d be the perfect meal if we had fresh morels with the fish, fried potatoes, cole slaw and dessert) Great people and thanks again,
The guys from Indiana
